Apartment great, view of the sea wonderful. Place and beach not very nice, but no problem for us, as we used it as a starting point for excursions e.g. "Valley of Temples".

We had the most amazing three days at Villa il Carubbo over Easter and we can’t wait to go back! Located higher up on the hill by the sea and surrounded by a beautiful garden with olive trees, the views from the patio as well the upstairs bedroom are simply breathtaking. The sound of the sea was very calming and the birds singing in the garden - the place was so lovely and quiet that we actually changed our plans and didn’t leave the house all weekend. The house is very tidy and clean, suitable also for a family. You do need a car, which we had rented anyway, and it’s best to do the grocery shopping before you get there. There’s a great big Lidl in Licata. I warmly recommend Angelo’s place (as well as the dinner cooked by his wife, absolutely delicious!) . In addition to a being a beautiful place and a cosy home, the host are wonderfully welcoming and helpful, such nice people. Grazie mille da tutto, spero che ci vediamo presto!

Beautiful apartment that is equipped with all comforts. The view to the sea is breathtaking. The beach is a 5-minute walk and by car you are in no time at the supermarket and the village with nice restaurants. The apartment was clean and Salvo was super welcoming and a good host. Definitely recommended!
