Poppy the Bell Tent at Mena Farm, Cornwall

CelesteRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Wow! What an amazing place you guys have. Our first get-away with our little boy (8 mos) as we went to an Eden Session and decided to make a weekend of it. We arrived on Friday and our hosts were welcoming, friendly and so helpful. We settled into our beautifully clean and spacious bell tent ‘Poppy’ before heading out to the Eden Project, approximately 10 mins drive. The loos and showers were clean and tidy, the little shop on site was well stocked and our little boy loved looking at the pigs and wondering down to the pond at the bottom of the meadow. The views are beautiful!! And if we had stayed longer we would have certainly wondered around the local area a little bit more as Ali recommended some nice local walks. On Sat evening a fab little food and drink van arrived on site and we enjoyed watching the sun set with a delicious cocktail. I can’t say enough about this place and we are already looking at when we can return! Family friendly, great location, wonderful hosts!

Oak the Lotus Belle Tent at Mena Farm, Cornwall

MaisieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The tent was perfect for our little stop gap whilst traveling Cornwall, the campsite is so peaceful at night and the tents are perfect patch for having a fire and stargazing at night, the toilets/showers and washing areas are close to the tents and it was an added treat that there was a pizza van on site the night we visited and a coffee van for the mornings! Alison was always on hand and very helpful with anything we needed including local recommendations!

Glamping Bell Tent in Cornwall, Rescorla Retreats

VernRating, 5 stars20 months ago
I cannot praise Rescorla Retreats enough. The standard of camping was extremely high. Clean, and very well, comfortably kitted out bell tents, with comfy bedding, torches, spare batteries and hot water bottles. Add to that bunting and fairy lights, cushions and blankets, and it made it feel very cosy. Each tent had it's own fire pit with seats around it, and a covered dining bench/area, which again was well supplied with wood for the fire, firelighters, matches a camping stove, kettle, and all the cooking utensils you need. Each tent had it's own compost loo and allocated shower which was fun to use with great views of the countryside whilst you freshened up and made your armpits charm pits! It was peaceful and quiet with only 3 pitches on site which were well spaced out, and only the sounds of birdsong and farmyard animals as the soundtrack. I would 100% recommed staying here, I'm sure I will again. Thank you so much Rescorla Retreats for your attention to detail!

Treehouse Tent + HotTub in unique private woodland

Lara And BertRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This was a return visit, to the back to basics in the magical woodland retreat. We love the remote location, with the dark skys and the nighttime creature noises, especially the owls calling out. Nigel and Erica are great host and had prepared everything for our arrival, and are very knowledgeable on the area which is fabulous when wanting to explore. The hot tub is ideal for a soak after a long walk. We will definitely be returning. Thank you til the next time 😊

Harford Glamping - Heart of Dartmoor (Dartmoor)

SteveRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect for walking on Dartmoor with 2 Moors Way only about 1 mile away. The tent was very comfortable and when the wood burner was running quite cosy despite outside temperatures in low single digits. The electric blanket took the chill off the bed, which was extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with hot plate, air fryer and microwave, so it was easy to cook. We love the enamel plates and bowls. Didn’t use the hot tub, as we ran out of time. Highly recommended!

Campion Glamping Safari Tent

EllenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the best time. very relaxing, beautiful surroundings and so quiet. The tent is just perfect, it's so cozy and pretty. The den bed was the highlight for my teenage daughter. Margaret and Colin are so inviting, friendly and welcoming. Margaret made a huge point of ensuring I had her mobile number as I was alone with my 2 children whilst away, Saying I could ring day or night if I needed them. A very comforting feeling. I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much Margaret and Colin.

Ash Tree camping pitch at Heathfield Escapes

JessicaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We really have had the best few days, we originally booked a campsite and fled the next day....long story. However, we found this secluded field and booked up. Within minutes Kate responded and accepted the booking, lots of instructions and information sent. When we arrived we were greeted by Richard who gave us a tour of the surroundings. We later met kate who gave us some home grown tomatoes and cucumbers, they went lovely with our BBQ. Thank you! Lovely hot showers and flushing toilets. There has been so much effort and thought put into everything around site. The kids loved exploring the place. Very private and secluded acre of land, the dog could run free once the gate to the feild was shut without being kept on a lead like the previous camp site we were on! We felt so relaxed when we arrived. Highly recommended and an absolute lovely couple.
