Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Trabia

We were in Mondello in July 2024 and had a fantastic vacation. The beaches and the turquoise blue sea were stunningly beautiful. The apartment of our host Gabriella was just as beautiful as in the pictures, very clean and well appointed. We didn't miss anything. The terrace provides shade during the day and invites you to a glass of wine in the evening – simply beautiful. Gabriella is a warm and loving host who can always be reached by phone. A special experience was when we closed the front door in the middle of the night and the key was inside. We called Gabriella, and her husband came right away to help us. We are very grateful for that. Gabriella was always available for questions and useful tips. We felt very comfortable with her – it doesn't get any better than that. Roberto is a very welcoming host, he is very responsive and gave us some great recommendations in the area. He even brought us breakfast twice. The house has an unobstructed view of the sea with private access without sand space to settle in but with a small concrete terrace. We also enjoyed the outdoor terrace which is sheltered from the wind and where we spent very pleasant evenings. We had a good week in Sicily and the location very close to the airport (15 min) was a plus. The cities of Trapani, Palermo, Mondello, Segeste are easily accessible within 1 hour and Cefalu at 1h20.

We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a family of 4. We enjoyed the view and the swimming pool. Giuseppe was very helpful and made local recommendations. Especially the bakery, ice cream shop and restaurant nearby we were happy with (S.Nicola), but also a lovely trip to Cefalú - where the restaurant A Paranza made delicious pizzas. Giuseppe also recommended good restaurants in Palermo. We would definitely recommend the place to others and would love to come back.

Vincenzo and his family were wonderful hosts - they were easy to communicate with, helpful when we had questions, and friendly. Vincenzo's parents greeted us at arrival, helped us get settled, and left us with a few delicious homemade foods to enjoy! Highly recommend if visiting this gorgeous Sicilian city.

Small cocoon of serenity in peace. Easy parking to leave the car, which is essential to get around. Alberto and his wife are available, attentive and proactive. Personalized welcome that makes you happy. Small terrace with the possibility of hanging out your laundry outside. Functional accommodation. In the shade, a little damp in this season when the nights become cool but in summer it must be great in the heat. Beautiful view of La Roca and the sea. I recommend it 100%.

Carolina's villa is very nice, it has all the useful spaces to live in 6 or more people. When we arrived, we found the host who also made us find typical sweets and fruits. They gave us great directions to be able to move on our own. From the terrace you can see the sea and the view is priceless. You can always park your car in front of the house and we also met a kitten named Lulu with whom we made friends and who appreciated our company. Overall, we give a high rating for the beauty of the place, the cleanliness and hospitality of the landlady. Thank you

Very nice place!!! A must stay at Sicily.

Cozy little house. In the low season (March) very deserted area, but this makes it nice and quiet and the nearby beach you have virtually to yourself. The Boomerang Beach Bar is even open all year round and is about 1 km away. Good starting point to explore this area of Sicily (between Marsala and Agrigento).

David is a very friendly, funny, and warm host who met us at the apartment to make sure our check in was smooth (and it was!). He totally made us feel right at home and welcome -- just a great person to talk to! The apartment was terrific -- the kitchen was well-equipped, and the space was roomy and spotless. The location was perfect as well -- close to the water and within walking distance to all the markets, and tons of stores and restaurants. Palermo is an awesome city, made even more special by Davide and his place. Thank you for a perfect stay, Davide!!!

This was such a lovely apartment and made our stay in Palermo so enjoyable. Great location and very comfortable apartment! They supplied a high chair and cot for our baby too.

I spent a month in this apartment. For the most part, there was nothing to complain about in addition to typical issues beyond the owner's control, such as garbage collection. The apartment was perfect for such a long stay. I recommend.

It was truly a privilege to stay at Lucia's custom built flat. It has the perfect blend of rich history and morden amenities. The view from the rooftop patio was out of this world and the flat was so close to all the major sites and yet completely isolated from street noise for a good rest. If you are lucky enough to find her listing available, you need to book it now! We will definitely come back in the future. Thank you Lucia for a wonderful experience in Palermo!

Quiet place, located in a good spot, close to everything you need. Marina has been very friendly and responsive.

Giulia was a very kind host, always available for advice and for any request for clarification. The apartment is very nice and centrally located to visit Palermo. We were very satisfied and definitely recommend La Casa di Giulia to everyone for a relaxing stay in Palermo.

Leti was responsive and efficient from the moment we booked our stay. She organised a taxi from the airport and he was waiting for us. We had a couple of questions and she replied promptly. The view was wonderful and encompassed the whole of the bay and there was always something to see/going on. It could get a little noisy at night as the locals dined out exceptionally late -the restaurant was still receiving guests at 11pm! Thank you Leti

Guiseppe's place was a beautiful apartment situated in a fantastic, authentic Mercado Baralla neighbourhood teaming with life and a great barrio attitude. We loved it. We had breakfast in a local cafe and pizza in a small square. Truly charming and people great. Would definitely stay here again.

We were greeted by Simona's father, who was very kind, gave us the opportunity to enter the house as soon as we arrived even though check-in was later. During the stay, we were followed daily , always being honest about our needs. The departure time was flexible allowing you to leave our bags until you leave. The house was perfect both for cleanliness and for the organization and amenities offered. Definitely recommend.

We, a family with four children aged 6 to 17, had a wonderful week in Palermo in October. The area was pleasant, with relatively few other tourists, as well as plenty of nice restaurants, bars, specialty shops, and supermarkets. Based on various articles, we had low expectations for public transport, but bus lines like 101 and 806 were frequent and reliable.

Francesca is a very good host! Always helpful and very polite. She was very quick to respond to the aftermath and tried to resolve the issues as quickly as possible. The apartment is clean, bright and much nicer than in the pictures. The kitchen had perfect amenities. We enjoyed our stay at Francesca's place.

Lovely, very clean and spacious apartment with breathing views. Quite a few flights of stair you need to climb before you reach it, but we didn't mind it at all, as we like walking. There was a bottle of water, tea, coffee and a simple breakfast option for the 1st day, which was really nice. The owners took their time to explain everything and made sure we had all the phone numbers/ information should we need it. On the day of the check-out we were allowed to stay a bit longer and Cetti gave us some great tips for visiting Palermo, which we used. We were also given a small gift, which made our day. Very nice hosts. Apartment was clean, well located, and equipped with everything needed for the beach!

We spent a week in the great apartment. Our flight was delayed but this was not an issue. The location is excellent. The beach, shopping street and restaurants - all within walking distance. The backyard with oranges and lemon trees is a dream, we enjoyed fresh orange juice every morning. If we were to "criticize" something, then that there are a little bit of storage options and the mattresses in the bedroom (for us) were a bit too hard. All in all, however, we are very satisfied and are already planning our next stay there.
