Monthly Rentals in Treknow

Absolutely what I wanted in a get-away place to escape work for a week. Liz's communication was great, friendly and helpful with any questions raised. The location of the house was exactly what I was looking for - somewhere I could walk to the beach, but not be on a busy road, to have the comforts of home without worrying about carpets and dogs and sand! Easy to clean up after ourselves, great sofas, comfy bed, good shower and plenty of space. Parking space (we only had one car) was great, off-road and easy to park in. I missed the turn to the street on the first try, (satnav and my fault), but was easy enough to turn around again. Found the house easily from the photos on the listing. We had a great time, walked down to the beach every day even when it rained the route was navigable. Definitely come back again. Thanks Liz!

This is a lovely cottage, perfectly placed on the path to Trebarwith Strand, peaceful, and with lovely views over the valley. It has old-fashioned charm (wood-burner, Rayburn, low beams etc.) but modern comforts - it is airy, surprisingly light with windows on both sides, and very cosy and spacious. Worth knowing if you have a dog that there is a tiny secure patio at the back, accessed from the garden room/bedroom 3, which is handy if you can't let your dog off lead out the front. We loved the sun terrace and garden room on warm days, the log burner on cold days, and the Rayburn's constant heat to come downstairs to in the morning. We would love to stay again. We know Treknow well, and it's a beautiful quiet hamlet, perfectly placed to drive to other lovely beaches and with the shops of Tintagel really only 5 minutes away. My one caveat is that this is actually a rental through Cornish Traditional Cottages ('George' is not a real person!). Even if you book through Air BnB you are half-switched to CTC's booking system, which led to confusing messages (Air BnB said we'd paid half, for example, yet CTC emailed outside the app to say we'd paid in full even though we hadn't). To save confusion I will book directly through CTC next time.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Puffins which is a lovely and unusual space in beautiful surroundings. Puffins has everything you could need for a relaxing family holiday. The kitchen in particular is really well equipped and the log burner was a bonus for an autumn stay. Plenty of walks from the door and lots of other places to visit within a short drive.

John was very helpful, we felt great in his cottage really nice, quiet area with a nice view, I will definitely recommend to friends ..
