This studio is very central, moments away from shops, cafes, restaurants and beach. It has great ocean views and it is within walking distance to public transport. This place is just a short walk to the beautiful Rainbow Bay where the Quicksilver Roxy Pro is held annually. The yearly Gold Coast's favourite nostalgia festival, Cooly Rocks is at the door steps.
“We very highly recommend Amy's place. We had a magical weekend here and everything was spot on. The location is great and the accommodation flawless. This place is great value for money. Good job Amy!”

“We have just had a fabulous stay at Leigh & Keith’s place . Our flight arrived in the morning, and we had intended to bide our time before our 2pm check in , but after exchanging text with Leigh, she invited us to arrive ahead of time , a lovely gesture for which we were very grateful. were given a warm welcome by our hosts upon our arrival. We are keen beachgoers , so their offer of use of a surfboard, bodyboards and pushbikes and beach umbrella was keenly accepted. The space itself was lovely. A private entrance into a airy courtyard to the studio with a tasteful decor, big bed , a fully appointed kitchenette With complimentary tea coffee and condiments a nice touch . And a modern bathroom with big towels, shampoos, and extras included. We felt relaxed instantly. The property itself is situated minutes from everything you need. With shops, cafes , pubs and the beach a short stroll away. We spent most mornings at Kirra beach , swimming, surfing and relaxing. And with 3-4 surf clubs with cold beer , good food and amazing views ,all within walking distance, we were in heaven. With everything we needed so close by , we didn’t feel the need to hire a car. We used Uber a few times, and bus services are a quick and cheap way to get around if you want to explore a bit further afield. We really enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Leigh and Keith’s space to anyone seeking a beautiful, private getaway in Coolangatta.”

“Daryl was incredibly responsive, friendly and welcoming. We booked last-minute and the place was still spotless, bed made, and a port-a-cot on hand for us to set up. A few basic condiments & cooking supplies were made available in the kitchen. Our visit was likely an unusual one for this type of accommodation, most tourists would find the space absolutely perfect. We thought it was great - we note below a few specific things based on one of us working remotely from the living room, and the fact that we were travelling with a baby. The king sized bed was comfortable, and the bedroom was spacious with a full-sized wardrobe and quite a pleasant leafy outlook . The bathroom is an ensuite to the bedroom (not accessible from living space) and included a nice big shower. Unfortunately the door to the bathroom kept jamming (Daryl warned us at check-in), meaning a loud noise to get it closed/open, or zero privacy. There IS an A/C unit but only in the bedroom. If you need to shut the bedroom door (e.g. for a sleeping baby!) the living space can get pretty warm, even if you open the windows in the evening. Presumably because the place is surrounded on 3 sides by larger apartment buildings, the phone signal there isn't the best. Likewise we struggled with the wifi speed. The place is quite quiet (we heard a few thumps from neighbour but nothing too disturbing - minimal street noise), and in a fantastic location... just walk 2 min uphill to the lookout, 5 min downhill to the beach, or 15 min down to the main Coolangatta strip. There are a few stairs and a ramp to get down to the apartment, and there is also another apartment below this one so there is SOME foot traffic past one of the kitchen windows - we just kept the blind partly down for privacy. Overall, great accommodation for a simple stay if you want to avoid the overpriced hotels in the area. Thanks Daryl!”
