I had a truly enjoyable and relaxing stay at this traditional Japanese-style inn. The atmosphere was serene and authentic, with beautiful décor and a peaceful ambiance. The host is very kind and supportive. Overall, it was a very comfortable and memorable visit.

I stayed for about two weeks for my children's spring break. They were very kind and enjoyed their life in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

Ube wasn't initially on my radar as a destination, I'm just bike-packing across Japan and decided to stop here for a night, I wish I had time to stay longer though, the host seemed fun to chill with and I assume wouldn't mind showing us around Ube if requested ahead of time. He also provided many local recommendations to eat at, even at the next location on my journey. If you're ever in Ube and want to chill with a local in a quiet part of town, this spot is your go-to accomodation. They even woke up early to see me off, 7AM early.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Shimonoseki! The house itself was spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The location was ideal, just a short, easy walk to many of Shimonoseki’s highlights. I loved being able to stroll to the vibrant Karato Fish Market for fresh sushi, wander along the scenic waterfront, and visit historic sites like Akama-jingu Shrine. The neighborhood felt peaceful and safe, with charming streets to discover and plenty of local eateries nearby. It was the perfect base for enjoying everything Shimonoseki has to offer on foot. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in this lovely port city!
