I had a really lovely stay at Windynook! Mike was very friendly and welcoming - he showed me around, explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. The accommodation was so cosy and homely, beautifully decorated and furnished with just enough in it to make it feel homely but not at all cluttered. The bed was really comfortable and I slept better than at home! The details were thoughtful, like providing small boxes of breakfast cereal, fruit juice, milk, tea and coffee. The kitchen was well-equipped and I had everything I needed, and Mike told me about several local shops and restaurants too. Check in and out was really easy, and Mike, his wife and their dogs were all very friendly - we had a lovely chat on arrival. I felt it was good value for money, because the accommodation was of a high standard and in a nice location, with so many thoughtful details provided. Thanks again Mike, for being a great host! 😊

If you are looking for a tranquil, peaceful space, this is the place to be. The private apartment is comfortable, welcoming and well equipped with games, books and interesting information about local walks and places of note. The balcony is a fabulous addition, with countryside views. Eleanor kindly supplied fresh eggs (in a variety of colours from different breeds of chicken!) which made a splendid breakfast! The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with cereals, herbs and other culinary items. I cannot stress enough how peaceful and secluded the space is, just perfect for getting away from “it all”.

I have just come back from a couple days away at Tamyn's place. It was exactly as described and easy to find with the instructions provided. The location is spot on and the accommodation was clean, tidy and well thought out. I loved the extra touches too, like biscuits and coffee / sugar. A decent size TV and lovely to have somewhere to sit other than on the bed. I hope you will have me back another time as it was a lovely stay.
