Another wonderful stay at Low Nook Cottage. This was a return visit and the place was as relaxing and welcoming as ever . Beautiful scenery and walks in the area. Lorraine was a wonderful host and we can’t wait to return again next year.

Such a lovely place, better than expected. We used a a base to walk sections of the wall. This place was perfect for that. There are plenty of walks, and it is right on the hadrians wall path. We walked in both directions and saw many excellent places all within a few miles. The local pub, The Samson Inn has recently re opened after the local community have funded and got it up and running. We went there for some drinks and again for a meal. The meal was excellent, they have a new chef and it's very well priced, well worth a visit. We had a great holiday here and the cottage was surprisingly spacious for just the two of us.
