Vacation rentals with lake access in Upper Swabia

Very nice guest house with beautiful garden, we were satisfied and would be happy to come back.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is cozy and you have a beautiful view to the outside in a well-kept garden. The beds are comfortable, the rainforest shower pleasant. The host was on vacation herself, the communication was smooth and friendly. When the heater went out, she took care of an installer who came right by. As an electric car driver, the wallbox was important to us, but its operation was not so easy and understandable. Loaded for 29 cents/ kwh. We traveled to the Lake Constance region from Illmensee, but underestimated the distances to the individual destinations. It was farther and more curvy than I thought. Just as info for travelers, because the host can't do anything about it.

One of the best rentals we've ever had!! The farm with the beautiful, lovingly and high-quality restored farmhouse is quiet and idyllically located with views of Lake Constance. There is space everywhere to sit together with several people. We were able to eat with 3 families outside at the long table in the garden, as well as in the dining room. Kitchen and living room are cozy and well equipped. The kitchen is really a dream and has everything you need. The converted roof offers all the possibilities for activities, our children loved it. You can make nice little hikes directly from the house. The barbecue area with lake view is a particularly idyllic place! It is tip-top clean, the bathrooms chic and Julia was very nice and helpful. Simply fantastic! I hope we can come back soon!

we were on a FAs trip, with 8 adults, many children and a small dogs to visit. Everything worked out mega, everything as described and Janin is super helpful and committed. We had baby beds and seats and also with the dogs everything was great. The location is also great, with beautiful views large garden and lots of fun for everyone. If I have to look for something, it would only be the path through a long hallway into the house which is a bit tedious with full hands and thus also the path from kitchen to the terrace for a long time. :-) We had a great weekend

Repeat guest and head back this year. The hosts are people of the heart, you are very warmly welcomed and are immediately offered help unloading the luggage. The accommodation is very clean and efficiently furnished, everything needed to feel comfortable. My personal highlight is that my dogs are welcome and allowed to move freely across the property. I can recommend this property 100%. The value is very good . I look forward to going back in the summer. Everything is just right here, the place is great, the hosts are great, the surroundings are rural and you have a great view. Ulm/Neu -Ulm can be reached in about 15-20 minutes. Shopping is possible in the next town.

We spent wonderful days over Easter with our 7-person extended family (three adult children and two grandparents) in this lovingly furnished house. It offers a lot of space – a large living room, a bright conservatory and a long dining table invite you to socialize. The open kitchen with freestanding kitchen block and bar stools leaves nothing to be desired – ideal for cooking, baking and even Easter egg dyeing together. The new terrace with seating steps and manicured garden are perfect retreats overlooking the lake. There is ample space for cars in the driveway, the garage has storage space for bicycles. The location is ideal: you can walk to the lake and start hikes directly from the house. A bus stop across the street allows for convenient excursions to the surrounding places. An all-round successful family experience – we will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful week and also our Labrador Rosa loved it. Right away from the house nice walks without a lot of cars or people, so exactly what we wanted. The way to Hergensweiler to Gasthof Post was very nice and the food there is delicious, highly recommended. Ursula and her husband are very likeable and attentive hosts, we lacked nothing. We can imagine ourselves coming back. You have your peace and space, but you are still quickly in Lindau or via Friedrichshafen and catamaran in Konstanz. After the trip to the world, we were always happy to come to our cozy house!

We had a great holiday. The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great location and we enjoyed walking down to the lake through the beautiful park. We were very lucky with the weather, sunshine every day so the lake was sparkling and the spring flowers were at their best. We loved the garden and the view over the lake to the Alps shimmering in the far distance. There is plenty to see and do in the area and local transport networks are very good. The ferries run regularly around the lake and we had some great days out visiting the botanical gardens at Mainau, the stilt houses near Meersburg and visiting the Rhine Falls just over the border in Switzerland. Meersburg is a pretty town to explore and we had a great lunch in the sun at one of the restaurants by the lake. Uberlingen is also a pretty town with good restaurants and there are supermarkets close to the house for cooking at home. It was our first visit to this area and we were all very impressed.

Professional host with attention to detail. E.g. large toaster, professionally well equipped kitchen with everything needed and that in reasonable quality. Very comfortable beds, a bathroom where you can move around and have storage options. Public transport is easily accessible. The perfect setting for a nice stay at Lake Constance.

The apartment itself was lovely and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our long weekend. It’s in a great location, just a short walk to the lake. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We had a wonderful time in the apartment on Lake Constance. Everything went smoothly – from booking to departure. The terrace was a real highlight, perfect for relaxing. In the kitchen there was everything you need, and everything worked very well. We would also like to highlight the owners who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. There were two of us in the place for a few days. The apartment is very pretty, decorated with a lot of love and fully met our expectations. Among other things, we were very happy about the large shower, as we have already had other experiences. The modern complex is located in a quiet area with adjacent parking and the castle lake right next door. We used the apartment as a starting point for a few trips to the Lake Constance area (for example, it takes about 50 minutes to drive to Constance). We also found the secured underground parking space great, because you really don't have to worry about the car being well accommodated. Communication with Wolfgang was completely straightforward. He always responded very quickly and we felt that he really cares that his guests have a good time, which is why we felt very comfortable from the beginning. We have a very clear recommendation, whether for short or longer stays!
