Listing as described, very neat and very clean. Away and therefore very quiet, all the necessary shops 5 minutes by car. We spent a week there at the end of April; the expected weather was supposed to be awful but apart from the first day when the watershed fell, the following days arranged very broadly and we were able to visit the area; nice days but cool especially in the morning and evening. From this fairly central place you can shine throughout Galicia but it means driving a lot nonetheless. We only saw Beatriz who is charming and very responsive despite a language problem (Spanish/French) she was able to respond to all our requests. Beautiful week so in this corner of Spain that we recommend without restraint for nature lovers and monuments and the Galicians are very helpful and friendly.

The location is perfect for visiting Santiago and exploring the northwest corner of Spain by car. There are numerous fantastic day trips that can be made in all directions. The host is warm, friendly, and very attentive — he left some delicious treats and wine, offered great local suggestions and checked in often to take care of the house. The house has a lot of character and history. If you're someone who enjoys a country-style getaway and doesn’t mind a few quirks this is an excellent choice.

My fiancé and I spent a full month here, and every moment felt like home. The layout is thoughtfully designed, the beds are comfortable, and the space is stocked for day-to-day living. The washing machine works well, the shower provides extra hot water, and the couch pulls out into an additional bed—or a cozy nest for rainy days spent watching movies on the big TV (Malpica has its fair share of those). The flat is clean and welcomes loves of natural light. Just outside the door a trail leads you straight into the wild and rugged beauty of the northern coast. It’s close enough to stroll to everything in town but distant enough to enjoy quiet solitude. Through the window, the ocean offers a serene view. The space was ideal for the two of us, though comfortably suited for four. Malpica is a charming fishing/surfing village, with quaint cafes, restaurants and scenic hiking trails. It’s local and peaceful, with the freshest seafood. Nacer is a kind and responsive host. Loved it!
