“Cozy Cabin was just that - a cozy place to spend the night. We really enjoyed Wabasha and the close proximity to the area amenities. The two bedrooms worked well for my cousin, Sue, and myself. Easy to park right in front and wish we could have enjoyed the amazing deck but the weather was a tad bit too hot that evening. We would definitely return when in the area.”
The decor in this house is clean and simple. We think of it as modern country. The light is incredible with a living room of floor to ceiling windows. The house is surrounded by an apple orchard and rolling hills. Recently featured in Martha Stewart Living July/Aug 2019.
“Such a unique home that is spacious and artfully decorated. The property is beautiful, and the perfect weather we had while there allowed us plenty of time to stroll around and enjoy it. The shower is pretty amazing! It was great to be "out in the country," yet so close to town, which has several good restaurants, and the lake. The winery just down the road is very cool, though a little crowded for our comfort during a pandemic. Overall, a long weekend here was the change of scenery I desperately needed.”
Welcome to our 'Lake Pepin House’—a newly built, single-family home set on top of the bluffs overlooking beautiful Lake Pepin only 1.5 hours drive from the Twin Cities along the Great River Road Scenic Byway (“The best scenic drive in America”).
“Lake Pepin House was a place of such beauty, it took our breath away. The house was so spacious and clean and had every amenity our family of 5, (including 3 young children) could ask for. The house is located on top of a bluff and the view over Lake Pepin, is one you could never tire of. From the eagles soaring overhead, to the spectacular star gazing at night; our only regret is that our trip was too short. No one could possibly regret a stay at Amara's house, and this is the home that our future airbnb stays will be judged against. Amara was quick and clear in communication. We can't wait to go back again some day.”
