She has several great additions that make her land enjoyable including porch chairs, a portable gas grill, an outdoor fire chimney, and of course Angel, the local horse who is always eager for an Apple. There is also a nearby nature trail that is about a 5-10 minute drive which is a great spot to take the dogs or a stroll. Gerri does what she needs to in order to help you have a good time, like buying and storing wood for burning. Gerri’s description is very accurate, so you should remember it is a studio with the toilet divided by a room divider and an outdoor shower (has plenty of privacy).”

The main room has Walnut ceiling and custom walnut shelving. Has a private driveway for easy access. Heating and cooling is provided by central heat pump which provides for a quiet stay. Located 6 miles from Round Top.

I arrived about 20 minutes before check in and Doris made sure I did not feel like a burden. Parking was well lit, and safe. The room had everything I needed for my one night stay was in place. She and her husband have thought of everything; comfy beds, a large walk-in shower, toiletries, wine and wine glasses, coffee maker and coffee, mini-fridge and microwave, as well as a TV with Hulu, Pandora, and Wi-fi. The front porch is a perfect spot for enjoying the sunset and gazing upon their acreage with many oak trees, stocked pond and pier. And the drive to and from “The Show” never took more than eight to ten minutes. We cannot wait to book another stay very soon!”
