Our modern tiny home is located on a small raspberry farm on the edge of the stunning Wombat Forest just out of Trentham, Victoria. Inside the home, you'll find a comfortable retreat complete with an indoor fireplace, kitchen with gas stovetop, fridge & day beds perfect for the ultimate relax and reset stay. We've also got a wood-fired sauna sitting on the large deck with a picturesque view of the Wombat State Forest. If you want to venture outside, there are walking tracks at your door stop.

Ideal for short and long term stays. Substantial discounted rates for stays a week or more for this self-contained house with peaceful and private surroundings. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, Lake Burrumbeet, YMCA swimming pool, art gallery, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. It’s a few minutes drive to Lucas shopping centre, 10-minute drive to the CBD and 20 minutes to Sovereign Hill. For safety reasons, the gas fireplace is not available but has 3 reverse cycle aircon.

Relax on the property or use it as a base for bush walking in the nearby Mount Cole State forest or visiting the Pyrenees wineries. Abundant wildlife including wallabies, echidnas & a wide assortment of birdlife. 15 km from Beaufort. Cosy cast iron chiminea on the deck; firewood supplied. EV Car charger. Sadly, the historic meditation temple (c.1995) was destroyed in the February 2024 bushfire.

The Cottage @ Hedges

The Cottage @ Hedges is an easy 10 minute drive from the centre of Ballarat. The cottage sits within a pretty country garden about 20 metres from my home on a small rural property. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.
