Really nice place, very quiet and lots within a 30min drive to do with kids. Only small point was that there is not much outdoor area for kids to run around and play football etc but it is a working farm so to be expected. Single beds also not overly comfortable for adults but fine for kids. Very well equipped and Susan was really helpful and prompt with communication. Would recommend!

Great location well situated for Scarborough and Filey. Accommodation good standard well equipped quiet and private. Good pub, shop and fish and chip shop in the village. Hope to book again next year next year.

Lovely peaceful place for us to stay with our three dogs for New Year. A lovely setting with so much green space. Kate was a great host with local knowledge and recommendations. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay.

Milo Cottage is absolutely beautiful – spotlessly clean, incredibly tidy, and full of charm. The garden and countryside views are simply stunning, and the interior is finished to a very high standard with so many thoughtful, stylish touches. Jooanne has truly thought of everything – from the essentials like milk and tea to the delightful homemade cake waiting for us on arrival. The cottage is well-equipped with board games, books, and plenty of information on local walks and attractions. We loved the outdoor seating areas in the garden, perfect for relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The house also features a wonderful collection of David Hockney artwork, along with books and information about him, which added a unique touch. There’s even a menu and guide for The Star, the local pub – and what a gem it is! A lovely walk from the cottage leads to one of the best pubs we’ve ever dined in, with an incredible atmosphere and delicious food. We highly recommend Milo Cottage x thank you x
