Dear Guest It awaits you a modern, partly renovated, ready-furnished 1.5 room space (approx. 35m2) + secondary storage room in the top floor of a 3-story property with a dedicated stairway (if you are not comfortable with stairs: there is no elevator ;-). The property is beautifully situated on a slope, embedded by green nature. The space radiates a dreamy Scandinavian lightness. The roof-slope adds spaciousness & air to the atmosphere. Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

We are a cosmopolitan family with two children (4 & 8) and at home in the beautiful Glarus mountains. Our new guest apartment is centrally located in a quiet location. Furnished with a bed 160 wide, shower with bath towels, kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Kitchen table, cabinet, Toilet in the stairwell. Garden with seating. Wi-Fi, coffee and tea are available.

Our paradise invites you to relax. The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. Das Studio liegt am Rande des Dorfzentrums Weesen in einem ruhigen Wohnquartier. Der See liegt 150m entfernt, Ausflüge in die Region sind wegen der perfekten Verkehrsanbindung bestens möglich. Zusammen mit den Regionen Heidiland, Glarnerland, St Gallen und Zürichsee sind die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten im Umkreis von einer Fahrstunde beinahe Endlos. Das Dorfzentrum ist zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

The Mountains are Calling Retreat

Come and enjoy the fresh Swiss mountain air. Our well equipped, self contained apartment is a great place to spend some time away in either Summer or Winter. Our place is just a 2 minute drive to Oberterzen to catch the cable car up to Flumserberg for a great day of skiing, mountain biking or hiking. We are also only a 3 minute drive to Unterterzen to spend a beautiful summers day at the Walensee.

Our beautiful accommodation is combined with an older farm, which is rather remote and surrounded by meadows with a view of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area, you can enjoy the peace and quiet. However, there are also an incredible number of sights and activities in the area. We'll be happy to help you find something suitable. The studio is wheelchair accessible and has no steps.
