We had an incredible stay. We have already started discussing rebooking this every year moving forward now.

I arrived feeling exhausted after a long drive from the USA. But, what a great place to land in Nova Scotia! I slept like a baby in a very comfy bed. The surroundings are beautiful--tucked amidst trees and overlooking the waters of La Have river- I found a little piece of paradise here. The cottage itself is charming. A well stocked kitchen including treats from the La Have bakery. Can't resist that! Joe is such a friendly and kind host. I appreciated that he was always quick to respond to any questions. He can tell you about all the sights and restaurants in the area. My favorite was Cresent Beach about a 15 minute drive--what a place to walk your dog and experience the ocean. I highly recommend staying here!

Both hosts are amazing people—very welcoming and made us feel right at home while we were house hunting. The space is comfortable, beautiful, modern, and spotless! We especially loved the TV with all the channels and the gorgeous backyard filled with birds—it was such a peaceful retreat. I would absolutely recommend this spacious and tidy place to anyone visiting the area who’s looking for a quiet stay away from the city, but still close to the ocean!

Lee Ann’s place is wonderful. So much attention has gone into it. It’s very peaceful and close to Mahone bay and Lunenburgh.They even left the Christmas tree up for me. Beautiful. Plus what can I say about the puppas. Two beautiful dogs. As I am a dog lover it’s been heaven I’m in luv with Max . Leeann calls him her Gentle Giant and so he is. Perfick.
