Kummel in Kwel

Welcome to Kummel & Kwel - my little hideaway beside the Reitdiep river. When I moved in last year, the first thing I did was set up the guest space so that I could share this idyllic landscape of wide open fields, picturesque villages and endless skies with others. This is a dream in progress - I’ve got lots of plans for it! Right now, I’m reworking the garden for the resident hedgehog, my flock of chickens and the bumblebees that live in the compost heap. The painted House, bed & breakfast

You are welcome to stay at 't Beschilderde Huis to enjoy Jo's artistic/homely atmosphere. Guests have their own entrance, livingroom and kitchen. Bathroom/toilet and bedrooms are upstairs. Jo often provides breakfast and/or eveningmeals. Cost not included, but by no means a 'must'. Groningen is a 15km bikeride and at 3km walk from the house there is a good busconnection. Host offers language lessons ( English, Italian, Dutch). We appreciate good communication before accepting requests.

A little shack.

Next to our monumental farm on the yard, this small accommodation is easy and not too expensive to stay in. Sanitary facilities and a common area are located in the farmhouse. The estate borders the Nienoord estate. Here you can hike and bike. The village is within 2 minutes walking distance. A village where you can shop and choose from several restaurants in the evening. The city of Groningen is 15 min away by car/bike 1 hour and 20 min by public transport.

Cozy and luxurious relaxation.

B&B Loft-13 is a cozy, luxury B&B on the border of Friesland and Groningen. Unwind and relax in your own sauna and wood-fired hot tub (optional/reservation). Excellent base for wonderful cycling and hiking trips. As well as business overnight stays, as you are a 5-minute drive from the A-7 towards various major cities. We provide a luxurious, varied breakfast, using fresh local products and of course the fresh free-range eggs from our own chickens

Log cabin the Lindehuys in Leek

Our Lindehuys is entirely built of wood and is located in our spacious green garden. You will have complete privacy in this log cabin. There is a shower and a toilet. Furthermore, a number of basic amenities such as a kettle, Senseo, microwave and refrigerator. The center of Leek and also the Nienoord estate with castle and carriage museum is within walking distance. Groningen is easily accessible by bus, and by car you can be there in 20 minutes.

Vacation at the beginning of the world!

The Steenuil is romantic/English decorated with gold and red. Has a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with double washbasins, toilet and shower. This apartment is also suitable for a wheelchair or if you have difficulty walking. It turns on English and has a beautiful view. And, if you come with children.......... there are secret extra sleeping places, find the key with the treasure map, solve the riddle and.......... you know where you sleep!

Last minute on the farm in Friesland

My place is close to restaurants and eateries, family-friendly activities, and public transportation. My place is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets for a small fee ). We also have an organic dairy farm and sell fresh eggs at home. Breakfast is possible at extra cost, 12.50 for adults and children up to 10 years €6.50

Bed & Breakfast itkohuske

It Ko Huske is a bed and breakfast on the border of Friesland and Groningen. Enjoy a comfortable and fully furnished 2-room apartment with its own front door, kitchen, bathroom and various terraces to sit outside for a while. You can book the B&B for a weekend away, but also as a pied-a-terre for a business and/or longer stay, this apartment is ideal. You will feel right at home!

You'll never want to leave this charming, unique accommodation. Located in the center of the village Oldehove with views to the church and the tower or to a beautiful mill and next to the special seafood restaurant 't Kleine Oestertje. Also with a nice breakfast room in French Provencal style.
