We have a star gazing area where you will be awed by the clear sky and see the Milky Way and all the constellations. Our Retreat Cottage is very well equipped with everything you need, including a 3 pin EV charging port. Your hosts, Drew and Sally, will meet you and show you around their small farm including cows, chickens and native birds, and browse the large vegetable gardens and orchard.

This apartment is situated 5 minutes off Inland Scenic Route 72 and less than 20 minutes from the friendly farming village of Geraldine. Use the apartment as a launch pad to local activities in Peel Forest (horse treks and bush walks), Lake Tekapo (ice skating, snow tubing, day spa and hot pools), Mt Cook (beautiful scenic walks and helicopter rides), or just a place to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of town. We are a working farm running cattle, a couple of chickens and 2 dogs.

The cottage accomodation is totally private set in a beautiful garden setting in the grounds of the historic school house built in 1876. 20 minutes to Methven and 1 hour to Christchurch international Airport. Our place is great for couples. On navman route, we are 2 hours from Christchurch and 4 hours to Queenstown. Only 1 hour from Mt Hutt ski field and 1 hour from Mt Dobson ski field. Aoraki Mount Cook is 2 hours distance and Tekapo is 1 hour.
