Monthly Rentals in Windsor

We had a wonderful stay at Sunshine Studio! The cabin was very cozy and warm — the heater was already on when we arrived, which made us feel immediately welcomed. Sarah is such a caring and thoughtful host. We loved meeting all the lovely animals, including the little goat, Kunekune pig, Highland cow, peacocks, birds, and rabbits. It was truly a peaceful and heartwarming experience. We would love to come back again!

Our stay here was nothing short of perfect. The location is great if you want a little more privacy and peace, but not too far that you feel cut off from the busier towns. The home was clean and inviting, the breakfast foods provided were a lovely touch and getting to see the animals was also great. Nicola was an incredible host, even offering to help us get items back that we foolishly left behind! My partner and I would highly recommend staying here and if we are ever back in this part of the world, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Not a bad word to say. Just wonderful.

Anna's house is in a fantastic location overlooking the historic part of Oamaru and harbour. Even allowing for a short distance hill it is a really quick and easy stroll into town, we aways walked rather than drove into town. There is good wifi and YouTube available on the TV, though we couldn't get free to air TV to work?? The mattress and pillows are really comfortable and the doona warm. The house has great heaters and is well sealed against the elements, you won't be cold here. The kitchen is old but functional, and there were a few pantry items that came in handy. There is only one light in the kitchen so there are dark corners at night but we can't say it was really a problem. The bathroom didn't have a powerpoint so we just used the provided hair dryer in the bedroom. We had one of our nicest days of the trip bunkered in here on a rainy day, warm and dry against the elements with a lovely view over the harbour, reading, bliss! We would happily stay here again, thanks Anna!

This was our favorite stay of the entire trip! The farm is absolutely lovely — we got to meet so many adorable animals, including alpacas and Highland cows (they were so cute when they chewed!). The host even took us on a walk around the farm in the morning to visit and feed them — such a special experience. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with cow and alpaca-themed touches everywhere — we loved it! Everything was so thoughtfully prepared, from the cozy interior to the fresh milk, juice, and jam waiting for us in the fridge.
