Tasteful decor - designed with flair. (I took some inspiration!) Endearing little house. Comfy beds. Walkable to the town. The complementary local bottle of wine and fresh milk (and yoga class passes) were well received. Thank you! It was a bit cool during May, so definitely needed the heatpump and oil heater (or we could have used the fire which had kindly been prepared to use). Windows were very thin, beautiful but original glass - which meant not very soundproof. The central living space didn't have windows, so a bit dark with dim lighting. Louvers opened to help to bring in the green outdoor view. Plenty of parking space! Overall, such a cute house and immaculately presented - curated with lots of interesting talking pieces. I would love to stay again.

This was our first visit to Queensland's Scenic Rim region, and the Woodman's Cottage was a perfect choice. Gary and Claire and their little doggo Maggie are very welcoming, but never intrusive, hosts. Their property is tranquil, with beautiful grounds and amazing views to the mountains and sunsets. We loved that the cottage was so private and comfortable, and is only a short drive to cafes and shops. We also loved the little bbq shed, with an old Kooka stove converted into a bbq. It's the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine in the afternoon watching the beautiful sunset. We were in the area for a wedding and really appreciated Gary's help with directions to the wedding venue. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

A gorgeous place only an hour drive from Brisbane! My husband and I stayed the night in this lovely property with its beautiful surroundings. Kate was a great hostess, very hospitable, friendly and with great attention to details! Would highly recommend.
