You can also go to Snaptun, from where ferries sail to the peaceful islands of Hjarnø and Endelave – perfect for a day out in nature.

Bed linen and towels can be rented for DKK 75 per person per stay or you can bring your own. Perfect for a relaxing holiday by the sea with plenty of activities.

Lovely and spacious annex of 30 sqm in rural surroundings. Close to the highway, so you can quickly get to both Skanderborg, Silkeborg and Aarhus. In the Annex there is a bedroom, living room and kitchenette. In the kitchenette there will be some cooking utensils, so you can make some coffee and toast some bread. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
