Peaseblossom House is a listed building in a lovely location. It is spacious and light, cheerful and friendly and comes with free WiFi. There is a fantastic, well equipped kitchen-diner with loads of space and a comfortable sunny large living room. We have Netflix and a smart TV now at Peaseblossom House. During the summer holidays we are taking bookings for 3 or 4 nights but we would appreciate it if you could start and end your holiday on a Monday or Friday. Thanks!

The location is so good for walking to local amenities like shops, Barter Books, Alwnwick Castle and Gardens, The Treehouse Restaurant, and a local cinema. Beautiful surroundings and Bamburgh only about 15 minutes drive in the car to the most gorgeous beaches. I would highly recommend this property.”

Off-street parking and own private entrance to the cottage. The owners live next door in the main part of the house, but you'll rarely see them unless you want to!! Living room with log-burner, kitchen, small rear courtyard on the ground floor. Upstairs their are 2 bedrooms - a single bed and a double bed - and a bathroom with over bath shower.

The cottage comes with all of the nessacery amenities required for a peaceful and relaxed weekend away. The kitchen was well equipped with all mod cons, and major supermarkets are within easy reach should you require anything. Peter was quick to respond with any questions we had, and was even so kind enough to bring round some wine to save us heading out. We loved our stay in the little cottage.”

What guests are saying:“I gifted this stay to my daughter and her husband. This is what she had to say....... My husband and I stayed here for our first wedding anniversary. We parked right by the side of the house and the lock box was nice and easy to use. The apartment was absolutely spotless and finished to a very high standard. You can see just how much this place means to Katie and John. There was a Lidl just down the road that we used to buy a couple of things but the kitchen was well stocked with things like tea, coffee, biscuits, spaghetti and pasta sauce. Unfortunately whilst we there social distancing (due to Coronavirus) had begun so we didn’t get to use Alnwick to its full potential. We did get to hike up “The Cheviot” though, which was less than 30 mins down the road. We will definitely be back to use the castle & gardens, to wander round all the lovely independent shops and to use the restaurants that were all unfortunately closed. We definitely recommend this place to anyone, whether you want to stay in and cosy by the log burner or go out and explore. Thank you for such a lovely stay!”
