Monthly Rentals in Barkstead

We warmly recommend the place where we stayed during the Easter weekend. A very nice rural setting, still only five minutes away from Daylesford. The guest suite met all our expectations, more spacious than we had expected from the photos, well equipped kitchen, nice outside area to sit and have meals. Rosi was very friendly and helpful. Hi Sarah Thanks for your amazing communication. Property was a bit hard to find coming off highway. Property was spotless and the most comfortable bed! Door code was a bit tricky , sometimes had to enter a few times Definitely need ear plugs but noise was well noted on listing. Thanks

We had a wonderful three-day stay at Landfall Cottage where we were warmly welcomed and spoiled by Mary and Adrian. Their peaceful corner of the world was ideal for us to get away from it all and enjoy rural life again. To get to know their friendly horses, Jack and Daniel and to see a large mob of kangaroos leaping through the paddocks and clearing the fences in style wiped away any city cobwebs that could remain in us. Instead we felt welcomed by a world that brought to mind all of the images of some of our great Australian poets, Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson. Robyn, my son Paul and I loved every moment of the stay and we will certainly be returning to shrug off the cares of the world and embrace Landfall Cottage again.

the property was stunning, the home clean and quiet. a lovely, comfortable, home-away-from-home space. I loved talking to the horse every morning as I had a coffee on the porch
