Cottage rentals with a hot tub

Honeymug, Branton
This is a lovely place to stay, in a quiet part of the countryside. Shared amenities, including games room, gym and pool, are excellent. The cottage itself is spacious and comfortable, with all the essentials we needed for our holiday.

Luxury 4 Star Cosy Lakeland Cottage
We spent 5 nights here at the end of March and start of April 2025. We were really fortunate with the weather and took full advantage of the wonderful location: scaling Slight Side and Scafell on one day, riding to Coniston via the bridleway on another and 'bagging' most of the Coniston fells on another day via Wrynose Pass. We ate in on a couple of nights and also went to the Wainwright's for some pub grub, as well as Stoves for their evening menu. Simon and Belinda's place is very well situated in Great Langdale for all kinds of walks and rides, food and decent pints. The house itself is a lovely place to return to in the evening with easy parking outside for our van and once inside, everything is spotless, well equipped and cosy. We really appreciated all the helpful information on bike routes and walking routes and spent the late evenings by the fire pouring over the Wainwright books planning the next day's adventures. 100% recommended.

Laburnum Cottage, Middlestone.
Had an amazing time! The cottage was amazing and our hosts were extremely helpful with all of our questions đ 10/10 would recommend anyone to stay here!

The Nook Holiday Cottage - Alston AONB
Lovely few days stay, Hayley was very friendly and helpful. Cottage is stunning, much bigger than the photos show and had everythingâs we needed. Beds very comfy and big en-suites in every room (although there was only 2 of us) secure garden for our two miniature dachshunds which was great. Location is very peaceful and quiet. Can recommend lunch at the Cumberland which was about a 10 minute walk away. Would definitely recommend this place.

5 Star Cottage with Hot Tub- Key to the Esk
Beautiful cottage. Was perfect for us and the dogs. Fully enclosed fenced garden with a gate down to a quiet riverside walk. The hottub was huge and warm ready for our arrival. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen. We only stayed for 1 night so cannot comment on the local area as we did not do much exploring but we noticed a spar walking distance just down the road and a few cafes.

Gatecroft Barn & Spa - Pet friendly with hot tub
Gatecroft barn (& spa!) is a delightfully quaint little cottage in a fairly remote part of the North Pennines area. My wife and I were looking for somewhere almost off grid, from which we could walk our dog, enjoy walks together and indulge in a spot of fell running. We needed it to be not tooooo far from some kind of shops and close enough to drive if we fancied somewhere special to eat. We were also looking for somewhere with a little something else, a cherry on top. Well we found that, in spades! Garrigill is picturesque and then some. There are walks/ runs from the front door! The cottage is well equipped. The hot tub (the cherry on top!) is perfect for after the adventurous days in the great outdoors - hygiene and cleanliness of which is exemplary. The host was as helpful as you could hope for (def one of the better hosts weâve come across!) and made some great recommendations - most of which we used and welcomed! Including a meal at Langley Castle. Weâll definitely go back⌠5*

Private detached cottage, wood fired hot tub!
Loved our two night stay in Stanley Cottage. Great parking to rear of the cottage. Lovely wee touches like, bread, prosecco, milk, orange juice and biscuits. Ben was great and will return when back down in that area.

Rose Barn Luxury Barn Conversion with Hot Tub
Our stay was fantastic. Daniel was very helpful with recommendations of local things to do, which was very helpful with a toddler and to catch-up with the in-laws. Beautiful property that was comfortable. All the little details have been thought of from setting up a bed for our toddler to the care package of tasty local food. Daniel was helpful and answered questions about where to go to entertain the family in all weather's. Thank you. We look forward to staying again!

Donny's Cottage near Amble Harbour. Dogs welcome.
Lovely decorated cottage. Close to shops, beach and harbour, always space to park. The cottage was clean and fully equiped. Penny was always in contact and helpful and one little problem she took care of super fast. We enjoyed our stay and would definitly come again.

The Hemmel, Old Town Farm
Outstanding cottage, would love to come back soon! The photos donât do it justice! Itâs even better when youâre there. Spotlessly clean, beautiful kitchen/dining room and comfortable bed. The views from the back garden were fab! I canât recommend this enough, would have happily stayed there longer and will definitely return. It was a lovely gesture that Kate even baked for us!! Thank you so much :)

Birchwood Cottage in Heart of Wooler with Garden
We had a lovely stay in the cottage, it was clean & tidy, loved the wood burner, the bedrooms were lovely especially the master bedroomâŚvery comfy bed. Loved the garden with lots of different seating areas, beautiful view & very peaceful. A 2 minute walk up to the town for shops, restaurants & bars & a 5 minute walk down to the dairy milk bar for fabulous ice creams & milkshakes. Lots of gorgeous near by walks too. A lovely stay & would definitely book again. Thank you Pam.

Entire Premium Holiday Cottage
My third stay at Nicks place was brilliant. Looking forward to going again soon.

Dog- friendly cottage with woodburner & games room
Lovely cottage in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable, Diane has thought of everything and the little extras like the dog blankets/bowls were very much appreciated. The wood burner made us extra cosy when we had a rainy evening. Great to have parking and somewhere near to exercise our dog. An ideal location , we had days out to Kielder Forest & Seahouses as well as exploring the Roman fort sites. Would definitely recommend this cottage and hopefully we will be back. Thank you.

Ford Cottage, Rutter Falls
A wonderful cottage in a fabulous location. Fizz, fresh bread and homemade jam to greet us. Lovely warm and surprisingly large cottage with a gorgeous view of the ford. Great walks straight from the door with wildlife aplenty (sadly no red squirrels but our host did point us to a hotel where we managed to see them). All in all, a cracking place to stay.

Cosy cottage in beautiful Branxton
What a lovely cottage! Julie and Nigel's cottage is a real home from home, and it matches the photographs perfectly. Thoughtfully decorated, and made to feel homely with blankets, pictures, books etc. Homemade bread and delicious muffins, plus milk and tea and good coffee were most welcome. I appreciated the use of Eco friendly cleaning products and shampoos etc. Comfortable bed with cotton duvet cover and comfy pillows. Big, fluffy towels were great. There are maps and suggestions of places to visit and eat. Julie sent me some recommendations too which were helpful. Friendly neighbours who are keen to share information too. It is perfect for two people - and our dog was made ever so welcome too. Julie and Nigel were responsive to messages right from booking to the end of our stay. Thank you Julie and Nigel for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Winterfell Cottage Bowness cosy and secluded
We had a truly wonderful stay at Anthonyâs spectacular home in Windermere. The house itself is beautifully maintained with all the amenities a family could need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of our favorite features was the garden and the lovely conservatory â perfect for morning coffee or winding down in the evening. Located within a private community, the property felt very safe and serene, giving us a real sense of comfort throughout our stay. Itâs just a short 4-minute drive to the charming town of Bowness, where we enjoyed exploring the shops and dining at some great restaurants. Plus, itâs conveniently located for day trips to many of the Lake Districtâs top attractions. Anthony was a fantastic host â very communicative and accommodating, especially with a flexible check-in that really helped us out. We highly recommend this place and are already looking forward to coming back again!

Beautiful Garden cottage + stunning views
The cottage is beautiful, peacefully located in the farm yet very easily approachable. It has everything you'll need for your stay. Best part of the cottage is many windows, the are numerous windows and each one is giving beautiful view of outside farm, courtyard or sky. Rach is lovely and very helpful, would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Fell Cottage - Sleeps 4
Fell cottage is a lovely, cozy and very clean . Well equipped with everything we needed. We stayed there for three nights and loved the fireplace during cold nights. Joan is a superb host! She welcomed us at the cottage and explained everything about it. Joan also recommended wonderful local pub, where we had delicious meal. The cottage is in quite village and the location was perfect for all our outings in Lake District. We loved our stay at Fell Cottage and highly recommend it. Thank you Joan !

Luxury 2 bedroom cottage in Windermere Village
We love staying at Aprilâs cottage, its truly a home from home. Location is perfect for a visit to the lakes with everything on your doorstep from great walks to cafes, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets. To top it off you have a fantastic sunny terrace to relax in after a day of exploring! Thanks again

Rural cozy cottage nr Lowick, recently renovated
For our first family holiday to Northumberland we couldnât have asked for a nicer place to stay. Candiâs cottage is in an ideal location for Bamburgh, Seahouses and Holy Island, to name but a few. In fact, before arriving, Candi messaged me with some recommendations, which went down a treat with the family! As for the accommodation itself? Immaculate! The kitchen and main bedroom are much bigger than they look on the photos. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated (recently?) and look lovely. The kitchen has all the utensils youâll need- even some Tupperware which we used for our picnics! Although we werenât in the house for long each day, having the Smart TV was a nice touch to wind down after our excursions. All four of us (2 adults, 2 children) slept well and really enjoyed our time in Candiâs cottage. The girls especially appreciated the sheep themed cookies that were left for them. They also loved cartwheeling up and down the garden. A great stay- thanks Candi!

Dene Cottage, lovely rural retreat for couples
An immaculately presented cottage with everything needed for a comfortable and peaceful stay. Helen and Paul were extremely welcoming and provided plenty of information about the locality and places to visit. As a result, we had a lovely week in Northumberland. Highly recommended!

Traditional English Cottage, Eden Valley, Cumbria
Perfect spot for long weekend , cosy & comfortable accommodation and food in the adjoining Pheasant Inn was outstanding. Peter was fab dealing with any issues and great communication throughout. We appreciated the breakfast goodies of milk, juice, tea , coffee and cereals . Some noise from the pub in the evening but that was expected and certainly didnât affect our enjoyment of staying!

Cosy, romantic bolt-hole with stunning views
This was a beautiful spot, nice & private & accessible to the lake for a beautiful sunset pic opportunity. Very clean & tidy on arrival & we tried our best to leave it as we found it.
