Our rooms are in a lovely modern house in the popular village of Barrowford. We offer a large comfortable double room and two smaller single rooms. The bathroom is clean and bright. Barrowford has pubs, restaurants and shops within walking distance and is on the edge of beautiful countryside. Safe parking next to the house. Ideal stopover for cyclists on the Leeds to Liverpool canal. For shoppers, Boundary Mill shopping outlet is round the corner.
“We had a very relaxing stay at Stephen's place. It's a beautiful, immaculately clean house with lots of lovely touches. We booked at short notice and Stephen responded immediately - all communications were very prompt. Stephen and Sue were very thoughtful and welcoming, taking care of all the needs of our mixed-age family group. They had lots of suggestions of places to visit. We enjoyed the Pendle Heritage Centre just round the corner, which had lots of information and things to see. Would strongly recommend a stay at Stephen and Sue's place.”
My place is in West Bradford, a mile and a half from Clitheroe, with great views and countryside walks. Although there are no shops or pubs in the village itself, a fantastic restaurant is just a minute's walk away. You’ll love my cosy, compact cottage dating from the 1730's with an original beam. It is located in beautiful gardens bordering a babbling brook. A private patio overlooks the brook towards fields. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).
“We had two fabulous nights and days in this little gem of a place. Cosy and warm, with everything we needed for our stay. Nice long walks, good food nearby oh and not forgetting the lovely, hot shower! Thank you Andrew and Sue for being such friendly hosts, we’ll be back xx”
On the edge of the Pennine Moors with country walks from the doorstep this modern annex is in a peaceful location at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Trawden. The village has a great pub, cafe and community-led store with locally sourced & eco-friendly produce. Bronte Country, Pendle Hill and the Yorkshire Dales are a short drive away Off road parking, peaceful garden with superb views A welcome pack of milk, bread, cereals, juice, tea, coffee provided & fresh eggs from our hens when they lay.
“Can't say anything bad about our stay well apart from the weather but I'm not blaming our host 😂 The directions and check in instructions were easy to follow and after we'dgot inside the host came to greet us. The accommodation was spotless and very modern and stylish similar to that of a new hotel room. They offer loads of little touches which makes the stay that much nicer like milk, orange juice, fresh loaf of bread with toast, butter and marmalade plus others. The veiw from the back is lovely and makes a great way to start the day whilst having breakfast. I could go on and on but as far as we found our stay this airbnb has got it spot on a 👌 more than worth the price. Thanks Molly and Dean”
