Hotel vacation rentals in British Isles

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Motherby House and am so grateful to the hosts, Jacquie and David, for making me feel so welcome. They’re both kind and engaging—and they gave me some great recommendations for places to eat and visit in the area. Breakfast was delicious and Jacquie kindly made me a tasty packed lunch for my hike! I’d be very happy to stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Lounge area well stocked with a cosy fireplace, games, guitar and piano :)

The Doolin in is the perfect spot to stay if you want to see the cliffs of Moher. Only a short drive to the cliffs, but you also get walk ability to all the great pubs in Doolin and to the pier which has a ferry to the Aryan Islands. The hotel itself is kept very nice and the breakfast is amazing. The hotel staff is top notch. Everyone we spoke with was extremely kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

muy recomendado todo. sólo aconsejaría leer el anunció correctamente. porque con las prisas no lo comenté con el anfitrión y el subir y bajar las escaleras con un coche de bebe fue incómodo. menos mal que solo era un piso 😀 De resto todo perfecto. muy bonita la zona. gracias por todo emily

We stayed at Quasim's place for one night beacaue we were travellinv the next morning but after getting there we wished we would have stayed there the whole time we were in London. Quasim's place is so clean and very close to the town area and Gatwick Airport. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It is perfect for large families, my group was five of us. Whenever I am visiting London again I will definitely be staying here.

Het is een geweldig verblijf! 1 van mijn favoriete!!! Bernie was snel met vragen beantwoorden en tijdens ons verblijf was ze er ook altijd als we vragen hadden. Zoveel tips en zoveel liefde. Het ontbijt was ook perfect! Alles was perfect! Als ik ooit terug kom naar Ierland verblijf ik hier zeker weer ❤️ side note: dichtstbijzijnde restaurant is 1,5 uur lopen of 15 min rijden. Maar in de zomer zal er vast meer open zijn

Lovely little place. Room was spotless and bed was sooooo comfortable. Delicious breakfast and attentive host.

What a beautiful find! A really well presented, perfectly clean and tidy place to stay. Hot tub was ready for when we got there and checked throughout. Everything included that you’d need including towels, a few washing pods and dishwasher tablets. The added body wash, shampoo and conditioner and bottle of wine was a lovely addition. Didn’t use the facilities on site but looks like there’s a good amount and the staff we did speak to were lovely. Will absolutely be returning :)

nous avons été très bien accueillis par Lars et son équipe tout au long de notre séjour, offrant une atmosphere tres familiale à notre séjour. l'hôtel est très cosy, très bien situé, et avec de beaux équipements. la chambre était très confortable, et nous avons pu bénéficier d'un lit bébé pour notre fils. nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Accueil très agréable. Logement très bien situé. Catherine était bien à notre écoute. Cuisine commune très propre et pratique. On c'est senti comme chez soi.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The only real complaint we had was that we were put in a room that looked directly out to an air conditioning unit and not so much the mountains. But we didn’t spend enough time in the room for that to really be a concern. The room and decor were unique and we loved the atmosphere.

Such a great stay! It was a very peaceful sleep, and the environment was very cozy. It was so nice hearing the waves at night and in the morning

Très bon accueil à notre arrivée. Logement petit mais propre, avec une salle d'eau privée et une cuisinette permettant de préparer des repas. Idéalement situé, près de 4 lignes de métro permettant de tout visiter facilement. On recommande ce logement.

Dit was onze eerste ervaring met een airbnb, en maakte onze verwachting meer dan waar. Mooi huisje prachtige tuin met zwembad en voldoende speel dingen voor de kids. Dus zeker een aanrader deze airbnb.

Bernie is an amazing host the location was perfect . what made it for us was that it was like a home away from home. The small touchs like food in the fridge and treats for our dog was so lovely to see. blankets bowls even down to a lead and all for him . bed was so comfy and the heating on for us for when we arrived. Irish hospitality is alive and well here. We will most definitely be back again in the future. Thank you so much Bernie

Good location Enjoyed an evening out at local bar and restaurant then returned to accommodation for a few drinks. I could hear the sound of the pub beneath the room but I was able to fall asleep. It closed at 1am. The check in was quick and easy, we were spotted with our bags and the bar staff immediately responded and took us to our room. The room was big and spacious.

Stayed whilst visiting family. Was lovely to have the run of the whole flat even when Elaine was home too. Stunning apartment with gorgeous views. Easy walk into the town and also down across the golf course to the beach.

Jean’s place was exactly what we wanted. Clean, tidy, and in a prime location to see what nature has to offer. A beautiful place surrounded by more beauty. Jean was extremely friendly and accommodating toward my wife and I and we’ll definitely choose to stay there again when we’re back that way. Thanks for an enjoyable stay Jean.

Great place to stay!

An excellent spot. Really well thought through property, with great communal spaces, and the pod bedroom we were in (Room 1) was fun for our group of four, while still giving us our own private spaces. The breakfast was super, and I loved the design/feel of the whole house. Very cool, clean and welcoming, with unique spaces in a beautiful building. I also loved the honesty fridge, and honesty amenities drawers - very helpful and straightforward. A few minor things which we found a little frustrating: 1. The sensored lights in the bedroom. The lights work on a switch, but also on a motion sensor, which was frustrating, as whenever a member of our party got out of their pod to use the bathroom, the overhead light would come on waking everybody else. 2. The music in communal areas felt a touch loud/unnecessary at times when we were hanging out/chilling in the evening. But these minor quibbles aside, an amazing place! Will definitely be returning, and recommending to others.

One night stay. Fantastic location but I had to leave early morning so missed out on that.
