Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cape Fear River

The mattress in every room was awesome. I never go back to rentals with bad bedding. No fun if you don’t sleep well. These renters really seemed to care. Also loves playing the Galaga game for free

A very nice house in a quiet subdivision. It is a close drive to all kinds of shopping and restaurants. Five of us adult males stayed there and were very comfortable. We enjoyed the full kitchen and the comfy living room. A good value for this area.

Such an amazing stay. It was quiet and super comfortable. The host was AMAZING. This is the best bnb I’ve ever stayed at.

I had a great night at Jennifer’s place. I was exhausted from a long drive, booked the reservation very late but I was so appreciative of Jennifer’s quick response and for accommodating me and my dog on such short notice. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and finally get some sleep! Both bedrooms had super comfy beds and I chose to sleep in the bedroom with blackout curtains so I had the best rest ever. The bathroom was pristine and I loved the way it was decorated. The shower was awesome! I also loved that I could tell dogs were very welcome in the home (cute doggy decorations, etc). My dog enjoyed exploring the yard and playing out there. This home will be our first choice the next time we drive through the state!

My family and I had a nice weekend getaway at the property. It was very spacious and accommodating. We loved the bathrooms especially. The backyard area was very spacious and nice as well. I can imagine how much more beautiful it will be when the lake is full again. The only thing that was different for us was not having curtains or blinds in the whole back area (sunroom,back door, kitchen) and the front windows of the home. We live in the city area where we stay so we’re use to some sort of closure. Other than that definitely worth the price. Would highly recommend this property and come back again ourselves. We did our annual golf fraternity golf trip and this year several guys stayed at Sea Oats on Lockwood Folly. They all enjoyed staying at this home and I received comments like, "very comfortable," "clean, with plenty of amenities and convenient" and "a great house." Marty is a wonderful host and always responded to any question I had. The house description you see is exactly what you'll get and we plan on renting it again next year.

Sam’s place was great! Right near everything but felt very secluded. We loved sitting out in the porch with all the beautiful flowers. We can’t wait to come back!

To say my family and I really enjoyed our stay would be an understatement. Gino was very easy to communicate with if we had any questions leading up to our stay before, during, and after. The kitchen had everything we needed, plates, cooking pots and pans, utensils, etc. My kids still can't stop talking about the bunk beds! The fellow vacationers staying in the building that we met at the pool or on the beach were so friendly. We really felt right at home and didn't want to leave! The location is very convenient. Being off the main road with the beach right outside your window is definitely a plus but having the main road so close was very helpful and convenient with kids, groceries, and just having to get last minute items throughout our stay. We hope to stay at Gino's place next year BUT for a longer stay if it is available!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Thank you Gino for having us! :)

I absolutely love this spot. I will stay here every time I’m in Southern Pines. It’s so quiet and peaceful.

Wow great spot . Close to all . Can walk everywhere to Uptown locations. Loved all the rooms ,decorated top line, bathroom was very well designed. If there was anything to improve on is possibly fitting in a 1/2 bath that would only give this place another big star. Overall wonderful stay ,hope can re visit soon!

Great stay! Super close to everything within town so able to walk to all the nearby spots! Building success was super easy with keypad locks. Laundry was very convenient and the house was very quiet the entire time we were there. Would absolutely stay again.

The location was great, beautiful view from the balcony’s, nice pond behind the house, lots of stuff to do in the surrounding area. The hosts were extremely nice and responded fast throughout our stay, if you’re looking for a good deal that’s close to the beach, this is your spot.

Very nice and spacious house. The outside pool and hot tub area is like an oasis of its own. They had pool toys and a great sitting area on the huge outside patio. The washer and dryer are huge. Very pleased with our stay here.

What a wonderful house in a wonderful location! The house was lovely, very spacious and perfect for our family holiday gathering. We are already talking about staying again next year!

While in the area for the Azalea Festival in Wilmington, we rented this beautiful home! It was close to Wilmington activities, but is a perfect location in Carolina Beach, walking distance from many restaurants, shops and activities. We loved the spaciousness, upscale furniture and gorgeous kitchen. But the best feature, by far, was being feet from the beach! It was so peaceful that we sat outside and in the living room for hours just enjoying coffee, the sound of the surf and the sun coming up. When we arrived, we did find that the beds were not made. But the cleaner arrived quickly after a quick call and had the bedding completed by the time we came back from dinner. I would recommend that the owners considering a variety of mattress firmness. All the bed seemed very firm to me and I had a difficult time sleeping. But all told, we hope to come back again with other family members so they can experience this gem at the Carolina Beaches!

My family and my aunt, uncle, cousins, and grandparents stayed at Salubrious View Too a handful of times when I was a kid. We’ve all had wonderful memories of this house, view, and sunset beach. This year, my parents and aunt and uncle are the grandparents, we are the parents, and the cousins’ children are the grandchildren. Amazing to be able to carry on the tradition to another generation. So thankful for our time at Salubrious View Too and cannot wait to return again.

We had a wonderful family reunion at Knollwood Manor and Tyler was so helpful in all aspects! The house was perfect for our family of 10 adults with everyone having their own bedroom and bathroom which you don't find in many of the rental homes. The house is located in such a peaceful setting with lots of Southern charm. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations or service from Tyler. Great house!!

Great place to stay for a long weekend. We had a lot of golf planned and this place was right in the heart of all the best courses around. Very nice setup and spotless. Would definitely recommend.

I decided last minute that I needed a getaway with some relaxation and an stress-free time. John’s place popped up to the top of the results list. I had never booked anything where you shared space but I decided to give it a try because of the good reviews and the fact that my husband’s name was John. I just felt like it was ok and safe. I’m glad I decided to try it. Both John’s and Diana were super sweet and so helpful.The house is beautiful.The rooms have top of the line bedding and beautiful decor. The kitchen was stocked with some food and John cooked several times for people. I’ve never had that at a place before so that was so helpful on saving some money with eating out. Plus they had garden tomatoes so I enjoyed like 10 tomato sandwiches.The animal tour was so cool. It was amazing to me to see how many animals , especially birds. It was really impressive; feeding the lemurs lollipops & holding the baby wallaby, Casper, was really cool.i highly recommend!! I will be back. Thanks

Everything was great. Esther and her kids are very sweet. If you want a room in a home, that is what she offers. You can also park in her driveway which was nice. I recommend this listing .
