Our cabin is warm and cosy. Enjoy the space, help yourself to veg from the garden, feed the farm animals, collect the eggs and explore all our area has to offer
“Don’t let the size fool you, you’ll have EVERYTHING you need at the hideaway! This was the first Airbnb that I personally felt as comfortable as I do at home. Boyle had the best food in Ireland and it was the most affordable as well. If you want a host that has a well planned out selection of things to do, this is where your heart will be!”
Hi-speed WIFI - perfect to work from home. Delightful and quaint traditional cottage with original features, comfortably decorated to give a warm and pleasant stay. Filled with books for every interest makes this cottage a particularly pleasant experience. Situated on a secluded country lane, both private and peaceful. 7 kilometres from the village of Dromahair, and 8 kilometres from the town of Manorhamilton. Close to the river Bonet. Ideal rural retreat-escape the stresses of modern living.
“Wonderful wonderful special place. Cannot say enough about this incredible cottage. If you are interested in vernacular Irish architecture you couldn’t find a more stunning example. Plus Eve’s flair and sensitive restoration of this little cluster of beautiful buildings is outstanding. I loved seeing all the original features left untouched while making the cottage so warm and comfortable. Don’t expect en-suites and underfloor hearing but do expect charm and beauty. Will visit again. Thank you so much.”
Idyllically located in the heart of Union Wood, 7miles from Sligo town this cosy self-contained cabin provides an ideal location to get away from it all, with fishing, hiking & mountain bike trails on your doorstep though action is never far away! This is an ideal stopover on your Wild Atlantic Way adventure or if you're attending a wedding in Markree Castle or Castle Dargan hotel. My parents, Brendan & Sheila will be on hand to show you around and give you a real Sligo welcome!
“An absolutely great weekend getaway. Both Sheila and Brendan were amazing hosts, especially staying up to welcome us when we're delayed getting in from Dublin. They were also nice enough to give us a lift into town on Saturday night. The cabin was a perfect hideaway during Storm Jorge. The wooden stove was amazing and was running when we arrived so the place was toasty and warm. We'll definitely be back!”
