Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cawsand

Close to the beach and a lovely pub /restaurant. The large kitchen table was ideal for our family get together. Very peaceful location we would love to return.

We spend a week at Ringmore, but could have easily stayed several weeks due to the lovely atmosphere of the cottage, the village and the attractive surrounding. House and garden are beautiful. You can feel at home instantly. The house is bright and friendly and well equipped. The beautiful surrounding invites to stray around, walk to the beach, enjoy the landscape, walk the coastal path starting from the house at Ayrmer Cove, a small beach with amazing rocks. And have dinner at the Journeys End Inn with a very nice variety of food and of course ales. There are many more things to explore: lovely villages, churches, cathedrals, ports, gardens, museums, estuarys, Dartmoor, great coast ... The host Anna was very nice and gave us lots of information. Thanks a lot for staying at this special place and experiencing a wonderful atmosphere!

Spend an enjoyable 4 nights at Rebecca and Chris’s house in Mary Tavy with my adult family and dog. The house is really well equipped, has great facilities and is a great renovation of a old house. Whilst on the main road, inside the house the road is barely noticeable. Managed to find a good morning dog walk down the track, through the woods and and on to a recreation area. You can continue from the recreation ground on to the Mary Tavy Inn, all away from the road. We were there for a balloon flight for me , but the flight was cancelled due to the weather conditions , so may have to book the house again when I have a new flight date, which I wouldn’t hesitate to do.

I don’t think the pictures did this place justice- it was absolutely beautiful and homey and had everything we needed, including the comfiest bedding I’ve ever slept in. We were given great recommendations and the communication was quick, friendly and helpful. We did have a few woodlouse and even a beetle in the house but we were warned and there’s repellants so there wasn’t much more that the host could’ve done. The area was so peaceful and it was a perfect break from normal life. Wish we could’ve stayed for longer!

A beautiful house in the perfect location - what a find! My Mum and I enjoyed a lovely 4 day stay and had everything we needed. The house was spotless, warm, comfortable and looked exactly like the pictures - stunning. Everything we needed was within walking distance and having our own car parking space was a bonus. Neil was the perfect host - great communication throughout. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay as a group of 6 adults. Staff were lovely and went the extra mile. The house we stayed in was exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we would need. Would recommend to others.

Staying at Daryl’s was perfect, he always responded to any messages I had sent to him within a short window, and was kind enough to leave us some Prosecco and chocolate as a welcome gift! The place was immaculate and exactly like the photos, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone else.

The house is beautiful and surpassed our expectations, it is very well kept and has great cooking facilities. The hosts were super helpful and very friendly making the whole experience that much better. The house suited our group perfectly and we would definitely stay again.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely flat. It was situated in an ideal location for both the Hoe/seafront and the city centre. The flat was well equipped and warm and the parking space was a real bonus. William was attentive , asking us if we had arrived safely and if everything was okay. He responded immediately when we had a minor problem. The welcome goodies were much appreciated. Thank you, we will be visiting again.

Such a lovely place, Jackie and John always on site. Peaceful and very well looked after grounds. The apartment was very clean and looked after. Will definitely return.

We had the perfect couple of days by the sea. Kerrie’s place is cosy, brilliantly designed and the bed is sooo comfortable. Exactly what we needed to relax and wake up to the sound of the ocean waves. Kerrie was really helpful with local recommendations and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We will definitely be back, we loved Kingsand and Cawsand!

Jack was clearly looking out for us and saw immediately what we needed (getting the bikes stored and getting out of the rain). He is obviously proud of his place and its history, and showed a real passion for it whilst being sensitive to our energy levels. There's a generosity here too (Neal's Yard toiletries) and a flair for decoration (Iain's speciality), giving the house a quirky, homely feel whilst respecting its history. Breakfast was reasonably-priced and beautifully presented. We loved every minute of our stay here.

We had a peaceful few days here. The place is modern with all equipment we need to a high standard. You can tell that thought and care has gone into the design of the place. The bedroom and bathroom are particular highlights due to the spaciousness. Very clean throughout. Would recommend for a place to stay.

we spent two weeks at Pippa's place. it was everything that we were told and more. Pippa, Matt and the children were very welcoming and friendly. The Annexe is very spacious clean and comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would happily stay there again in the future and would absolutely recommend it to friends and family

This flat was absolutely perfect for us. Incredible views of beautiful Looe. Nice and close to shops, restaurants, harbour etc. The flat had everything we needed and was very clean. We would 100% stay again. Thank you Kelly.

I had a delightful weekend here with my boyfriend, the place was clean, spacious, cosy and well stocked with goodies, eggs and a carton of milk for our tea and breakfast. Melanie was very accommodating and the location was private and peaceful, the perfect space for us to stay while visiting my family.

the place was perfect ! so close to the beautiful town of looe, and even on a wet day we had , there was loads of films and games for the kids to keep them entertained, the views are blinding aswell as got the forest and sea view, robert was excellent and responsive, will definitely be looking to come back down in the summer ☀️

Very friendly and great communication. Spacious bedrooms that are clean and tidy and are well glazed to minimise traffic noise from the main road. The property is situated near loads of amenities in Plymouth and was easy and quick to get to. The views from the rooms were lovely, tranquil and ever changing with the tide and weather. Just be mindful that to get those views there are loads of steps! There are binoculars in the main bedroom to spot wildlife when the tide is out. There aren’t any bins in the bedrooms or bathroom so had to use my dogs unused poo bags so be prepared. There is a lay-by for locals parking (3 cars) which is straight off the busy main road. I couldn’t park at the back of the property as my SUV was too big to get the right angle to park (as it’s a fairly busy narrow lane) so if you have a small-ish car you’ll be fine. Overall a lovely bungalow to base yourself in Plymouth but just be prepared for the steps and parking.

We had a wonderful stay, the views and surrounding area are stunning. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing short break in the sunshine, wish we could have stayed longer - perhaps next year as would love a return visit! Thanks

Despite bad weather and a couple of power cuts we had a lovely few days away. The property felt private and not overlooked and was well equiped with everything we needed in the kitchen. A lovely beach is a short walk away, we also took a short drive into looe for a cuppa and cake. We would definitely stay longer next time.

Beautiful house, thoughtfully decorated and a pleasure to spend time in. It is also huge so lots of space to make yourself at home. All appliances, white goods etc in perfect working order and all furniture comfortable and tidy, linens and towels very clean etc. The house throughout was very clean. Parking permits available on arrival so very easy and we had no issues with parking during our week long stay. Easy to walk to the seafront, shopping mall, aquarium etc and we enjoyed the walks. Very small asks would be to provide more dinner plates, side plates and bowls. As a family of 5 we went through everything in a day but it’s not enough to fill the dishwasher so no break from washing up on hols! A few basics like salt, pepper, oil would be welcomed to help with home cooking. As I said very small asks. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this home away from home for anyone travelling to Plymouth.

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.
