Ideally located opposite the Co-op near the centre of the town although secluded enough to have some piece and quiet when needed. Excellent hosts, very accommodating and friendly. Perfectly located for mountain biking and hiking.

Better than I anticipated, we really enjoyed our stay here, it’s a beautiful little place, peaceful and quiet, very secluded and the views from the bed were amazing. main attraction to the area was to climb cadair idris which was a 5 minute drive, also wanted to see dyfi bike park, which again was probably 10 minute drive. Dave was very welcoming and kept me updated from the moment I booked our accommodation. Popped in and welcomed us when we got settled. Notifying us of the comedy show that was on for the weekend and other places to eat / drink in the local area. Will happily return when I’m ready to hit the bike park or when visiting Barmouth beach again.

We had the most relaxing stay at Ceri's lovely cottage. There was everything there that we needed and more. Fabulous shower, lovely bath, super comfy bed. Ceri was very responsive and was so helpful and kind, even when I inadvertently thought that we were booked in for an extra night Ceri told us there was no rush to check out, she was very accommodating. We also had the most delicious cakes waiting for us when we checked in, I would have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful cottage and hope to return in the near future.

My partner stayed here for 2 nights in early May to do some hiking. Booking/stay communication was made easy by the hosts. Adventuring up the mountain road he was greeted by the charming hosts and shown to the carriage which was away from the farm house, up some stairs through a blue bell carpeted little wood. The carriage was stunning, a perfect blend of feeling rustic & off grid in all the right places whilst having enough basic luxuries to help you enjoy your time. He didn’t pay enough attention to the info & was pleased to find a fridge and ice box which is a change for a Shepard’s huts. Inside the hut is cosy and clean, the bed was ridiculously comfortable & he enjoyed the log burner in the evenings which keeps it toasty. The decked area outside gives you a secluded platform to enjoy the picturesque view & fire pit in the evenings. The families cheeky goats pottered about in the field below with the odd chicken now & again. Absolute silence apart from bird song, it was so peaceful
