Kishorchandra and his beautiful home are a joy to visit. This is my second time staying here and it’s always been great

VERY nice place Place was remodeled, cozy, clean, tastefully appointed with contemporary furniture. All kinds of amenities. Fully stocked kitchen: plates, pans, spices, etc. AC worked well. Fully stocked bathroom: tp, towels, shampoo, etc.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay here and would happily stay here again! From a safe neighborhood, to a spotless home, to freshly filled hot tub, to the well-stocked towels and beddings, to welcoming gathering spaces, to the private back yard and bedrooms...not to mention all the design and personal touches that make this house feel like a home! This home is restorative and relaxing as could be. I could go on and on. Everything we needed was here. And any shopping we needed was just a block away. We hiked nearby trails about ten minutes away like the Lafayette Reservoir and Lafayette Moraga tail every day. I couldn't imagine a more perfect fit. Honestly, it was hard to leave. Thank you Amy!

José Juan was very kind and responded quickly to all questions. The house was very quiet at all times. It was a lovely stay and I’ll check for his availability first if I’m in the area again.

I had an amazing stay! The place was exactly as described — clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, close to everything I needed but still peaceful and quiet. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure I had everything for a comfortable stay. Beautiful garden in a nice Berkeley home. Very quiet and clean room with good private bathroom. Great location with many locations including our favorite store Berkeley Bowl (which should be added to your recommended places) in easy driving distance. Comfortable bed and Rachel had welcome goodies waiting for us in our room’s refrigerator. She was very accommodating with our delayed flight and helped us inside after we lost our instructions. Snacks in the refrigerator helped us late at night when we arrived. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We flew in to California from Arkansas on a Wednesday to attend a funeral on Friday and one on Saturday. Dale met us at the house and was very friendly and willing to help with any concerns that we had.He brought toilet paper,packs of new washcloths and body wash and I absolutely loved that.There were plenty of large clean white bath towels.The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots and pans and anything needed to cook with. The pantry was also well stocked but we ate out every meal.We only used the kitchen to make tea and coffee. He came and provided us with an extra parking pass for our guest.He offered to have the carpet cleaned while we was there but we opted to have the carpets cleaned after checkout.We was able to wash and dry our clothes with the washer and dryer in the garage.The beds were comfortable with nice clean linens and plenty of soft pillows.Check in was easy.We didn’t get to use the backyard at all because we was out and about every day.Roku TV’s in every room.

One of the best Airbnb places I've stayed. Doris was very responsive to anything I needed and she and her husband were both very friendly and helpful. This property sets next to a field with horses and beautiful woodlands and green meadows. Very quiet & private, but very close to major urban areas with entertainment and restaurants. I went to this little oasis for a personal yoga and meditation retreat I put together. It was perfect. The generosity of the hosts in stocking the refrigerator and kitchen with special food & drink items was above and beyond. I felt pampered. I will return for sure.

One of the best Airbnbs I've ever stayed in. B'ful place and so thoughtfully done. Every corner thought in great detail and attention. The gesture by the host to get us fresh cookies on arrival won our hearts. I wish we could stay longer. The airbnb itself is worth a 2-3 day stay over.

I had a great time staying at Ruby's garden house. I had everything that I needed for my stay, the area felt very safe to me and she was very helpful!

This was the a great place to stay for a short work trip. The unit is a first floor private studio apartment with its own private bathroom and kitchen in a small apartment building. There is controlled access to the overall building as well as a key to the room. It is convenient walking distance from everything on Castro as well as the Caltrain station. As others mention, the main drawback was the noise, but I actually found it easier to sleep that way. The kitchen is stocked with some basic food items and breakfast like bagels, yogurt, fruit, coffee pods. It is an older building and unit that I thought had character. Very clean and comfortable.

We had such a great stay at Stephen’s place! It was comfortable, beautiful and had everything we need. And Stephen was a great host!

Susan and Rich made us feel like we were visiting our friends without being intrusive. They were engaging, informative, flexible and fun. We shared meals together when suited but ate separately when appropriate. We loved our stay here and can’t recommend it highly enough. The facilities were clean and beautifully presented. Breakfast was time flexible and there were plenty of choices including Susan’s own recipe of Granola that was yummy. The title of super-host is well deserved. We will be recommending Susan & Rich to any of our family / friends heading to the area. Thank you guys for your hospitality 🫶

Rishi offers an incredibly warm welcome, that is genuine and caring. How lovely, after we’d been on a long road trip! He offered us a bottle of wine at check-in and other nice touches when he learned that it was my birthday. We took the advice of another reviewer and left our car parked when heading out in the evening, as all the spaces were full. Uber was reasonable price. We loved the quiet location, and only issues we had was not being able to access reception area the morning we were leaving, for breakfast and to check-out. Otherwise, our host made our stay very very welcoming and memorable. Would recommend!

We rented two rooms at this Airbnb and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very nice, clean, and cozy — perfect for a comfortable stay. This place is the perfect getaway for a couple looking to explore Sonoma County without paying for an overpriced hotel. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. The Sleep Number bed was incredibly comfortable—it actually caused us to sleep in longer than expected! Upon arrival, the hosts warmly greeted us and gave us a tour of their home. They even offered to set up a fire near their beautiful rose garden or let us relax on their front porch. They also provided a great binder full of thoughtful local recommendations. We’d absolutely stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

We really enjoyed staying at Kathy’s place, one of our most unforgettable experiences for our California trip. We really enjoyed the breakfast and snacks, the mattress, the yard which is a good stargazing spot at night.

Super friendly hosts. Sweetest dog named Ruby. Place is exactly as described. Was looking for something reasonably priced in the mountains. Emily’s place fits the bill perfectly. Will definitely come back again.
