Lake house vacation rentals in Central Florida

I’ve stayed at my fair share of AirBnB’s and VRBO’s and Mike is one of the absolute best hosts I’ve ever had. He was very proactive with his communication and was super-accommodating upon our arrival. He gave us a personal tour of the property and ensured our stay was awesome. The views from the property were amazing! Additionally, the property was very well cared for. Will definitely be back!

Excellent rental! It was in a beautiful location. The floorplan was spacious and worked well for our crew. The kitchen was well-stocked and paper products were provided. Everything was pristine and beautifully decorated. Jennifer was great to communicate with and very proactive. It was such a great place for our crew to have a place like this to relax at the end of a long day at the race track. We definitely would love to come back!

We loved sitting on the screened porch morning and night. Very peaceful. Very comfortable for family. Good communication during stay. Heat and AC worked well. Very convenient location to Inverness. We arrived at night it was a little tricky to find but that's what made it so private. Maybe a blue reflector on the mailbox would help! Rowboat, kayacks, canoes, horseshoes, fishing gear, plenty of games for adults and children. A great time.

Go ahead and book this bnb! It was worth every penny. The house was spotless when we walked in and had everything we needed for a week stay. Hosts were so kind and helpful! Very quick to respond when I had questions. Very quiet, peaceful location. Lots of places to eat within 15min of bnb. They have two kayaks and a paddle boat you can barrow. Huge seating area by the water, with over 20 chairs to choose from. My dog loved exploring the back yard and chasing the squirrels. If you play disc golf, Green Gauntlet & Lake Hark are the 2 closest course. Both are wooded and reminded me of stepping into a scene from Jurassic Park lol. 5 of 5 stars for these hosts! We will definitely be back!

We are a small bass fishing club out of Tallahassee, FL that had an away bass fishing tournament on the Harris chain. Five of us states comfortably at this brand new, beautiful house, on the boatable water. Will come back if we ever have another tournament down there.

Pete’s place is really great. Peaceful. We loved being on the water. We all enjoyed the canoe and rowboat and our boys loved fishing off the dock. House is charming and well done inside. Great front and back porches to enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Absolutely loved our stay here.

Michael’s property was absolutely amazing! From cleanliness to the prime location, everything was 10/10. I would recommend this property to anyone coming to Tampa, Michael is very friendly and helpful.

Kyle was incredibly responsive from the moment we booked to after we checked out. This home is truly special, situated in a beautiful location overlooking Lake Thonotosassa with all of the amenities needed for an awesome weekend. We loved being able to enjoy the pool and kayaks during the day and the firepit in the evening. We will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.

Amazing waterfront property, great fishing, turtle & bird watching. The hosts Doug & Marcie welcomed us, gave us helpful tips and recommendations. The home is very well stocked & like the pictures. Cute decorating with lots of helpful things to make your trip easy. Kitchen is well supplied & organized. If you want a relaxing peaceful old Florida trip this is the place.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay!! Great space for teammates playing at Lake Myrtle Sports park, even close enough to wait out a lightning delay. Was a great place to stay in to watch a big game and enjoy a game night. We didn’t get out on the lake, but we’ll be back to enjoy more next time. Host was exceptional!

Great place and location. The house was spotless clean with enough space for 6 people, full of all you need to have an excellent stay. The property is located in an excellent spot with a great view of Lake Tarpon where you can relax with your morning coffee or a glass of wine. The house very close to Dunedin - cutest little town with gorgeous beaches and also close to Tampa. All in all it’s well worth your time and your money, also important to mention dog friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at Chris's lake house. It was quiet, peaceful and in a beautiful setting! The house was clean and there were fishing rods, a kayak. and a canoe as well as toys should you have kids with you. Highly recommend!

If I’m being completely honest, when I booked, Rosemary’s place was more than I budgeted for the trip BUT it was totally worth it! Our hosts were very responsive and welcoming. I would highly recommend looking past the price, you will not be disappointed. The lakefront location and dock was important to me, so that sealed the deal. We enjoyed several nice days of fishing the chain of lakes even though our weather was overcast and chilly for a good portion of our trip. The location is great, close to lots of restaurants and places to visit. Our hosts Rosemary and Steve were very gracious, we appreciated their hospitality. It’s feels wonderful patronizing good folks. Thank you Steve and Rosemary!

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay! The property was well-equipped with everything we needed. The boys loved the lake and paddle boat, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. While the beach was about an hour away, and the closest Walmart was a 30-minute drive, the overall experience was fantastic. We'd definitely recommend it!

We had a beautiful Christmas with our grandchildren in a beautiful home! It is so peaceful and inviting here. Brian was so nice and answered any questions we had quickly. They have board games for family fun, the grandchild didn’t even ask to watch TV because they were in awe of the property and the lake. And we live on the Atlantic Coast of NC. Everything is just as it showed as published with even some additional bonuses which helped us because we had forgotten to pack some essentials. We will be back!
