Our place is conveniently located on a residential road that’s close to town but also private. You’ll love the shaded and spacious backyard with its towering oaks and thick patches of bamboo. Guests are welcome to hang out by the campfire, toss some horseshoes or take a load off at the deck overlooking the creek. Pet friendly see info below
“We really enjoyed this property. The house was sparkling clean. The back yard was perfect with horseshoes, a place to have a fire, a covered picnic table, a deck overlooking Soco Creek. Its a five minutes drive from Food Lion and some restaurants. Less of a drive straight down the road to the Casino. Our boys looked forward to getting back to the house each night to fish and swim in the creek. We would definitely rent this place again. It is a little difficult to find at first because the street sign is mostly covered by some trees but Nonah gives good instructions to get there. Plus we used Bingo Loop Rd. in our GPS to get us back to the vicinity of the house and then knew to start looking for the road based on some surrounding landmarks.”

Get away from it all or enjoy time at the Great Smoky National Park. There's never a shortage of things to do. Please note: Renters must be at least 23 years of age.
“This was my second stay at Vicki’s cabin. The space was very clean upon our arrival. Self check in is a breeze and driving up to the cabin is even easier the second time around, even in a 2WD vehicle. We brought our own food and beverages to cook throughout our stay, using the abundance of available cookware and plates/glassware provided as well; there is also an Ingles very close by for quick supply runs if needed. The view is still breathtaking and clear skies provide excellent vantage for star gazing during cool summer nights. Vicki and her Husband are very responsive/quick with any communication. Highly recommended for a secluded, tranquil, and relaxing getaway!”
Situated on five beautiful private acres, The Gathering Place offers a private entrance suite, and ultimate privacy. We are pet friendly, but you must communicate with us if bringing a dog. We have two dogs, and sometimes there can be "dog politics." A large, clean, natural pond, rushing stream, and a meandering creek create a peaceful setting. “This is the perfect secluded getaway, especially if the tourist-y feel of Gatlinburg isn’t your thing. Close to the park, and the hot tub is the perfect way to end a day of hiking. We grilled out on the beautiful deck overlooking the pond. So many thoughtful little touches sprinkled throughout the cabin and the coded gate made me feel extra safe. Thank you Ken and Laura, we would definitely return!”
