Family-friendly vacation rentals in Converse

The love shack was perfect for a weekend away! We grilled, enjoyed the hot tub, relaxed by the fire ring and on the back porch with gorgeous views. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, from fire wood for the fire ring to k cups for the coffee pot, and lots of clean towels. We came down for a motorcycle rally, and scenic rides, but this was such a perfect little cabin, that we will absolutely be back. The host was thorough with the instructions, and super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We were secluded but not too far from grocery stores or restaurants, they were just a little drive away. The bed was SO comfortable too, we both slept great! We had a wonderful time here at the love shack, and can’t wait to come back.

The view is unbelievable. The place has a very luxurious ambiance. I appreciated the complimentary coffee in the mornings. The pets were very friendly!

This place was gorgeous! We loved our stay at the Casita. It is a small space, just as described, but was perfect for just my husband and I. We loved having the pool and hot tub available, and were pleasantly surprised by the old downtown just down the road. Close to restaurants and bars, and right by the highway so it was easy for us to get to downtown San Antonio. Brett was very helpful and friendly during our stay. Would absolutely recommend!

It’s far and very private! We loved the drive to the home , Dee was very helpful and accommodating . We enjoyed our stay a lot, the pool and patio was everyone’s favorite.

We loved staying here! The location was perfect (we were able to walk to so many things!), and it was so nice to come back to the private hot tub after a day of exploring! The hosts were extremely friendly, responsive, and put a lot of thought into making our stay comfortable. We had everything we needed and more! The rental unit was extremely clean, well-kept, and up-to-date. The beds were very comfortable, we slept so well! If we are ever in the area again, this will be our place for sure!

The stay was amazing! We spotted deer every morning we were there. The host was very accommodating and communicated quickly throughout our stay. Thank you for an amazing trip.

Above and beyond experience for my wife and I’s late honeymoon. Kimberlee kept a clean, welcoming space. Communication was at a great flow before during and after our stay! Keep her on your wishlist, nothing like a quiet, cozy, cute spot in downtown SA.

Jennifer was a great host in responsiveness and being attentive. The place was just what our family needed and the back yard is a huge plus for pets! Highly recommend if your staying in San Antonio.

We stayed for Labor Day weekend and the ease of access to the river made for the perfect weekend. No worrying about parking, renting tubes, getting picked up by a van- just walk in and walk out back to the house. It is a beautiful little gem.

I have stayed here about 4 or 5 times over the years and it’s always my favorite Airbnb to stay at in San Antonio! Once again it was so clean and comfortable! This place always makes us happy with our trip!

While the house itself is small, as described, the outdoor space is the real highlight. The property is beautifully maintained and offers plenty of activities, including kayaking, paddle boarding, and cornhole. The deck overlooking the river is absolutely stunning, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. Overall, a fantastic stay for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors!

Lee's place was great!! It's walking distance from The Pearl District, and very close to The Alamo and the Riverwalk! The place was attractive and clean. Lee was also very responsive to my texts! For information purposes: It's a three story condo. This is not an ideal place for anyone with mobility issues. My family and I had am overall great experience!

What a beautiful vacation away from the busy city life. This bunkhouse was well equipped for relaxation including a beautiful view, lovely plung pool off the deck and a gorgeous bathtub that you could swim in with a rain shower next to it that was just as luxurious. The beds and linen were comfortable. The refrigerator is on the smaller side, what you’d expect with a bunkhouse but it was adorable. The driveway is 1.5 mile hard packed dirt but very well maintained. There is a plethora of wildlife along the way so keep your eyes open! The hosts are responsive and extremely helpful and nice! Will return again when in the area!

Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

We had an amazing stay. Very nice and peaceful location. Easy to get around from. Perfect little piece of heaven. Definitely a place I would recommend and stay at again. Hosts were amazing at check in and were helpful with recommendations.

If you want a high ceiling, updated but rustic, gigantic porch Texas home on a huge lot with pool and hot tub, this is your place. Easy walk to Pearl and fun neighborhood spots like Barbaro and Little Death. 10 minutes drives to downtown and Southtown. Would stay again!

Beautiful condo with all the amenities. Just steps away from great restaurants, shopping, and the legendary Gruene Hall. I would definitely stay here again and wish we could have stayed longer. 5 stars!

Outstanding rental! The downstairs area is super unique and cool, spent more time playing pool than we expected. The outdoor space is on point as well, hot tub heated up quickly and the view from anywhere on the pool deck was stunning. Randall was a great host, made sure we had what we needed but then gave us our space to enjoy. Highly recommend this rental, no need to hesitate booking.

Ollie and Paula were fantastic hosts, so friendly and helpful. Our family really enjoyed our stay and all the area had to offer. Unfortunately we had a very quick trip with a lot to do in a short time. I wish we had more downtime to enjoy the Airbnb and everything it had to offer. My family loved playing pickleball and there was a great selection of DVDs and board games for quiet time. The kids loved the pool. It really felt like home for a few days.
