Townhome vacation rentals in County Durham

I really enjoyed staying at Sarah place. The bedroom was nicely decorated and the bathroom was nicely laid out and comfy. The kitchen has all the essentials needed to make you feel at home. Would definitely stay there again.

Great base for exploring Durham and loads of room for us to relax and spread out. Ample parking, excellent kitchen and facilities and the Christmas tree was a lovely touch.

We stayed 22 nights in this Airbnb and truly felt like we were at home. From the very beginning, communication with Aggie was excellent. Her message was informative and friendly, which gave me confidence in our choice. I mentioned my dust allergy, and she reassured me right away. When we arrived, the house was even cleaner and better maintained than I expected. The house was immaculate, warm, and perfect for our family. The sofa bed in the living room was spacious for me and my 5 year old, and the bedroom had all the amenities for my husband. The bathroom was modern, and the decor made us feel cozy and welcomed. We often forgot we were in an Airbnb, it felt like we were in a friendly home. The family’s dogs were a lovely touch quiet and friendly, adding to the homely feel. Aggie was a true gem, always kind and helpful. We found a new friend, and I can't wait to see her again. Thank you, Aggie, for an unforgettable experience!

Ann is very responsive and accomodating. We relied on her instructions re local places to eat and were didn't regret it. We loved the comfortable bed and warm duvet. The room is facing the back garden, so it was absolutely quiet. We had a very good night sleep and carried on to Durham the next morning, very close.

I have stayed here a number of times so I will do a quick review. They went out of there way to let me into the room early. Darren if you have a problem he will sort it out. A good host

The house was very neat and tidy and had all of the facilities that are needed. We found the location quiet, peaceful and ideal as it is within walking distance of Durham town centre. The host was very friendly and proactive in communicating any instructions to us regarding check in/check out etc.

Mary has been very nice and helpful. The room is very clean and I have a wonderful experience.

Great long weekend in Middlesbrough and staying in Franki's house helped a lot. It was a good base to explore the city and the area as the train and bus stations are close, while having a good rest for the next day.

Would highly recommend. Everything as described on listing.Place was spotless. Booked for 5 more stays here for when I'm down later on in the year.

For any Visitors coming to hunt seaglass in Seaham, this is the place to stay! Down the road from the train station and a mile or so from the beach in town center. No kitchen is needed since there’s many takeaways and if needed you can use the kitchen. Best thing to do is fly to Newcastle get on the metro and get on the train to Seaham and right down the road from the train station is the suite so it couldn’t be any easier! The hosta are absolutely a lovely couple that go out of their way to make sure that you are having a good time! They are very generous and nice. This is my Second stay here and will be coming Back!

Lovely, calm, soothing interior no clutter, cozy and snug but all you need when you’re walking outside and wanna come home to a beautiful peaceful place

Had a wonderful stay in Clare's house. It's a fantastic house in a brilliant location. House is huge but very cosy, it was great for the 3 of us to get a bedroom each. Spotlessly clean, also easy access with the key box. Very nice to have a pint of milk in the fridge, and delicious coffee supplied. Plenty of parking permits were provided so it was great to be able to leave the car except when venturing further afield. Bus stop is very close by with frequent buses into the centre of town. Easy walk into town downhill, but the road can be quite busy so we mostly took the bus. Durham itself is brilliant and had lots more to offer than we expected. Make sure you visit the Cathedral which was really wonderful. Locals are so friendly and helpful. Clare's house is excellent and in a great location, we'd definitely stay there again.

An ideal place for exploring Darlington and surrounding area. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Communication was speedy and clear. My sister and her partner were able to check in a bit earlier, which was really helpful.

Lovely house, with a good and enclosed pet friendly back garden, and the property is very well located for both Bishop Auckland town centre and Kynren.
