The house is charming and exceeded our expectations. The Art on the walls and individual well considered decor made it homely and interesting and very comfortable. House is warm and such a beautiful view , watching the ladies who swim in the sea each morning at 6.00 am in all weathers was an inspiration. Hope to return. Highly recommend everything about this property and the local advice and detail in making us feel welcome. Ruth was always available to answer questions and give good advice.Shetland has so much to offer

The house was cosy and comfortable and equipped with all necessary amenities. The location was great for exploring the beauty of Shetland. Fiona was a fabulous host, very responsive and made sure our stay was superb.

A wonderful location to explore Lerwick - we were there for the music festival and it was absolutely perfect. We also made a mistake on our booking date - and were very fortunate to take advantage of a cancellation! Tony and his dad were so considerate and helpful and accommodating- so we were very lucky - as being festival time everything was booked. The “silver lining” is that we experienced two different units in their house - and both were exceptionally comfortable and bright.

Stunning views and hiking routes possible from the front door. A well-equipped, large kitchen, very comfy beds in both bedrooms and pleasant open-plan living area. Ideally located for visiting the sights of the south Mainland and seeing this year's SMUHA.
