We have central hydronic heating but the 2 large open fireplaces are a real feature of the cottage. We are regularly visited by kangaroos, kookaburras and other native wildlife. Headland - a rustic romantic

Just a short walk to our fabulous town, shops, restaurants/cafes & lake! Set well back off the street, Headland is only one private little cottage, on its own, flanked with large lawn, garden and a couple of cute garden sheds. Circa 1860, Headland is one of Daylesford's originals--oozing authentic appeal, cosy and calming. Moonlight Blue miners' cottage. Delightful, open plan and charming space for a get-away weekend. The cottage offers a queen size bed, Ned Kelly fireplace, sitting room, large screen TV and cooking facilities. Its bathroom has a corner spa with an overhead rain-shower. It's set in a fairy tale garden setting with a back veranda straight on to the garden. Dogs are allowed if I'm warned and if they're well trained. But this must be discussed beforehand.
