Amazing place, a big house with a nice balcony to relax. The heating works really well. And it’s about a 15-min walk from the center.

The problem with five star reviews as the default for any AirBnb that is “good enough” is that when you experience truly exceptional hospitality, a number score can’t accurately convey what a rare treasure you’ve found. That’s a long-winded way of saying, Jayne deserves six out of five stars. At every possible opportunity, she went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and looked after. Our room and bathroom were immaculate and stocked with thoughtful ammenities, we received extensive recommendations for things to see, do and especially eat in Cork based on our personal preferences, and she even let her precious kitty Peggy spend the evenings and mornings with us once we revealed our cat obsession. The only two drawbacks (no regular kitchen access & very low ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom) were communicated clearly and honestly in the listing, so we knew what to expect. If you play in the NBA, hate animals and eating out, don’t stay here. Otherwise, book with confidence.

This is lovely apartment and recommend this place. The communication with the host was flawless. Emma was responsive and provided all the necessary information to make our stay smooth and enjoyable. The apartment itself is perfectly located, making it easy to explore the city. It was also very clean and well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of sightseeing. I would be happy to stay in this apartment again during my future visits to Cork.

Loved Chao’s hospitality and spotless well located house near the city Cork’s city center. Room was small but clean and quite cozy, (although a bit cold at night as there was no heating), the best option if you don’t want to stay in a hostel and don’t mind sharing the floor with a few more people. Wifi worked great, provided breakfast was basic, but useful. For me it was perfect as i was there just to sleep, being away all the time! Thank you
