The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. The "gray water" is used in the garden and the "separating toilet" works without drinking water flushing. The living/sleeping room is bright and friendly, equipped with a double bed with a lying surface of 1.60 x 2.00 m. Extra bed 0.80 x 1.90 m or children's travel bed for 3rd person if necessary. Both not possible at the same time. Bathroom with shower and toilet. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen. Highchair will be provided if needed.

Our vacation home is located on the uppermost edge of the slope above the Schussental with views over the cityscape of Ravensburg and the vineyard. It is the “swallow's nest” – a small spot on the city map of Ravensburg that tells a special story.   We have preserved the former "laundry house" in which diapers were once washed for the children's home that was located there at the time, and have lovingly restored it to its former glory. The special flair of this cottage has been maintained.

The old house, which we have lovingly and completely renovated from an ecological point of view, is located opposite a beautiful vantage point with an old oak tree over the lake. The apartment is located in our farmhouse in which we ourselves live in a residential unit and which we are gradually expanding and renovating. There is a separate entrance. The apartment has 1 bedroom, 1 living room, 1 bathroom and a small kitchen where you can take care of yourself superbly. Parking is available. Wi-Fi access is available.

The apartment has been newly built in an old farmhouse (anno 1833). During construction, care was taken to use as many natural building materials as possible (wood, clay, hemp). The partitions were designed as half-timbered walls. The living room forms a room with the kitchen. The apartment is about 60 m² and is barrier-free.
