“Philip was a great host and his place is in a nice neighborhood conveniently located. It was very clean and comfortable. All the amenities of home were available with extra's of any toiletries you might forget. A basket of fruit, a number of snacks, soda and coffee were all available. Suzie, Philip's wife made pancakes and eggs one morning with homemade blackberry syrup, what a bonus. Philip had great communication and allowed us to check in a bit early in order to get to our son's baseball game. The hot tub was great on a cool evening and the added bubble bath was entertaining for our son. I will be back to stay when we come through town again.”

“Mike and Adriana take hosting to another level. They have thought of everything, and if you have any question they respond so quickly or refer you to their detailed house handbook. In additionally they are friendly and welcoming, offering great conversation and hospitality. I travel to the area quite a bit for work and hope to be back!”
We are in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a tree-lined path alongside a flowing creek. This is a safe, comfortable room that you will love having found. Because we board dogs we welcome guests with fur babies. They must be current on shots, neutered/spayed and sociable with people and other animals. There is an additional charge of $15 per pet/per day.
“I highly recommend Rebecca & James’s place. This is a hidden gem in the Dallas area. If you need a comfy place to stay then look no further. This is cheaper and much more affordable than staying at the average hotel/motel. The area is in a safe and quiet neighborhood and you get a lot more amenities. It is near a super Walmart and Walmart’s gas station and various restaurants. There is a cute thrift shop/antique store nearby called “Home, Fashions & More” to check out, if ever you’re in the mood for some retail therapy or simply just browse. It is also near the library, parks, CVS, Walgreens, and Braums ice cream place and Little Caesar’s pizza. You will need a vehicle to get around the area or Uber/Lyft. Even though our stay was short, we immediately felt at home. It felt like staying at a friend or relative’s house. The hosts and family were hospitable and outgoing and someone was always there if you needed anything, had any questions or simply wanted to converse and chat. Our room was comfortable, clean, quiet and very relaxing. It had a keurig coffee machine in there which I love because I am a coffee drinker and my kid loved making hot chocolate from it. They have ample closet and storage space for your belongings, extra blankets for your comfort, some board games, crossword puzzles, books by various authors, if you ever need a break from your phones lol. The bed was comfy. I slept very well. The hosts even provided a comfy cot for my kid to sleep on, which he slept very well on, thank you guys! I love that we could watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and other Roku streaming channels in the room without having to log in, which is a huge plus, if you don’t have an account and want to enjoy these features. The WIFi connection was fast and worked great. The shared bathroom was clean. Had plenty of stocked toilet paper, towels and complimentary toiletries (soaps, shampoo, conditioner, lotions) for guest use. I love the scented candles in the bathroom too, which was nice. The other guests renting out the other rooms were quiet and everyone respected each other’s privacy and space. There is a desktop computer and printer in the common area for guest use, additional TV sets and couches to lounge in in the common areas, washer and dryer and complimentary laundry detergent, microwave, refrigerator in the shared kitchen and a stovetop/oven if you need to cook/bake anything and complimentary breakfast cereals, milk, coffee, tea, snacks and treats. I love that we had the freedom to eat in our room and we didn’t have to do any dishes, another plus. Some things that I would like to mention is that the bedroom doors do not have locks inside or outside of the rooms but we were aware of this prior to booking and were able to adapt. Therefore, this was not an issue for us. However, if not having a lock on your door concerns you, maybe you can communicate with the hosts and see if they can work something out to ensure your stay is much more at ease. Also, this place does board dogs and the dogs like to interact and play with the people in the household. So this will only be a good fit for guests who love animals, are not scared or allergic to them and/or do not mind being under the same roof as them. The animals that visited our room were so much fun! We left our door open so the fur babies could come and visit us and we loved playing and interacting with them. It made our stay much more interesting and enjoyable. We were even invited to enjoy a complimentary all you can eat Thanksgiving meal which we appreciated so much. Lots of good food. Thanks Rebecca :-) All in all, I would stay here again and I look forward to future stays, especially, for the unbeatable price, awesome hospitality, amenities and the extras A +++++”
