Luxurious place and little extra bits and bobs made us feel very special like the slippers, robes and nibbles in the kitchen.

Great accommodation in a quiet location with good access to the Eastern and Northern Fells. Super-clean and comfortable with everything that we needed for a self catering holiday in the Lake District. The hosts were lovely. Always available if required but very ‘light-touch’; the perfect balance. Couldn’t be better.

Beautifully converted fruit store for the castle - very peaceful and relaxing, with a short walk to Greystoke village and the castle. Hazel & Ian are very friendly and welcoming, and their gardens are spectacular!

We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. Dockray is a very peaceful place slightly tucked away from the main tourist trails but still being very easy to get to everything. We did a couple of stunning walks from the doorstep and enjoyed incredible views of Ullswater. Anneli was a great host with lots of helpful information in the weeks before we arrived and was very responsive when I needed some help with something on our first day. The accommodation was really lovely - lots of useful items around the house and the kitchen and everything really well maintained and looked after. I would highly recommend and would be very happy to visit again.
