Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

The house is ideally furnished for family vacations of up to 6 people. Of course, groups, couples and individuals are also very welcome. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space with a living area of around 125 m² surrounded by nature. Your exclusive getaway with 360-degree views of Säntis/Lake Constance and yet so close to attractions such as St.Gallen/Appenzell. This 200-year-old Appenzell house towers high above Herisau AR and is lovingly called "GöttiFritz" by its owners. It shines authentically in a fantastic mountain and hill scenery – a true retreat for the soul.

Holiday cottage on the sunny slope with beautiful views. After a short but somewhat steep walk to the bungalow, you can enjoy the view of the Alpstein with our local mountain, the Säntis, on a cozy terrace. There are many walking and hiking opportunities directly from the house. Please note: From the parking lot, it is about 100 m on foot relatively steep up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest.

The apartment has an area of 78 m² and consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room with couch, a kitchen-living room, a bathroom with shower, tub, sink, separate toilet, dining area and a 10 m² terrace! On the 3rd floor there is also a storage room with a washing tub!
