Spacious bedrooms! Very comfortable home in the woods. It's remote so it makes for a great get away from the congestion of a city. And it's modern so you won't miss any of the comforts of home. Make your menu, bring your groceries and take some time to cook, connect and relax.

The Hayward Haus exceeded our expectations, every single detail of the home was thoughtful, the host was super responsive and friendly, beds were comfortable - we had everything we needed. 10/10! Would love to go back!

The Chalet was the perfect space four our multigenerational group to spend Easter weekend. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed to make meals for our group. The kids loved the loft, bunk beds, movie theater setup, activity room and playroom as well as the odd layout, which made for endless rounds of hide and seek! The grandparents appreciated separate spaces for a little more peace and quiet. The yard was an excellent spot for an Easter egg hunt! Overall, we would highly recommend and are looking forward to future stays!

This place was great!!! The hosts gave clear, detailed instructions about the place and did small things like prepare a wagon for luggage and set out treats when we first arrived that made us feel very welcomed! The yurt itself was beautiful and we were in awe of it the entire time. We loved the location: it was close to town, but far enough away to feel like you’re off the grid. The amenities were so fun, the foldable kayaks were a treat to use and were very easy to figure out! The hosts were super helpful and responsive too when we had questions. Loved this place so much and hope to be back again sometime ❤️

The house was very clean and spacious. We had all the amenities we needed, and it was close to the Birkie ski trail. We would definitely stay there again on our next skiing or biking trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Amity & Doran’s! Communication was excellent leading up to our stay and day-of, they made sure we could get in the driveway okay by ensuring snow was cleared before our arrival, and also took care of snow removal on the path and stairs to the Airbnb. We loved all the personalized and welcoming touches they included in the space as well! Instructions for heating, etc. in the Airbnb were posted and clear, and the space was so cozy and inviting. Loved the view!! They also provided a nicely-stocked snack area, even including a couple commonly forgotten items which we found very thoughtful. We really couldn’t have asked for a better space for our little getaway, and we only wish we could’ve enjoyed it longer! Hope to be back someday and stay again!!

Place was fantastic. We stayed 3 nights (March, 2025) with four young kids, two adults. Everything is very well communicated/clear (access, entry, garage, rules, etc) everything is known up front (kitchen items, fireplace, etc) Place is big and quiet too. Very clean, updated, cozy, and well lit (also with blackout curtains in all bedrooms) Kitchen is nice with everything you need to cook, including a grill (already had tea, keurig coffee and cups, oil, seasonings, including paper towels, zip locks, detergent, soap, etc) There is everything you need for the beach (chairs, toys, towels). Tons of games, puzzles, and books. But the best of all..... private beach, sauna, tons of firewood, garage, AND a washer/dryer. Fantastic North Shore Location (near Split Rock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, Two Harbors, Tettegouche, etc). It's quiet, it's big, it's got everything you need, it's a great set up and we would proudly recommend this place to any of our family and friends!

Nancy was so amazing!! Our girls weekend could not have been better than at this place! Banana bread was waiting for us on the counter when we got there, a much enjoyed treat! They were so kind to let us utilize amenities beyond the listing, and the cabin was absolutely adorable and fit every need of ours! I would highly recommend this location and we will for sure be back!!!

Eric was very easy to work with and accommodated an earlier check-in and the later checkout. The house was very clean. It was perfect for myself, my daughter and our dog. Easy access to freeway and downtown Duluth. Would have loved to use the fireplace, but the weather did not cooperate. Everything you need is there. We enjoyed our stay!! Thank you!
