Nice place on the mountain with lush green surroundings. Just a couple of minutes drive from the main city and worth it! Enjoyed the stay, had all the amenities that we were looking for, and beautiful view of surroundings from the windows. Take a short walk and one can enjoy the ocean views! Leeanne (the host) was very helpful and responsive; loved talking to her to know the history of this place. Thank you!!

Thank you for a relaxing stay and for our delicious evening meal. We stayed in the Merino Room which was comfortable and quiet.

We stayed three nights with two infants, and with such a well-equipped family-friendly place (heatpump, full kitchen, washing machine/drier, spacious), we would have been quite comfortable staying longer. Beautiful area in the bush but so close to town. Loved the birdsong.

Awesome spot close to town and lots of activities

This is a great place to stay near the university! While small and cozy it was a great place to call home for several weeks. Chris was incredibly accommodating and flexible. Would recommend anyone to looking to stay in the Dunedin area!

Elke’s cottage is perfect and can handle a a family or a couple of happy travelers. From the lovely gardens to the spectacular view of the bay, to the soft flannel sheets and warm comforter, to the well-thought out kitchen space, spacious shower and bathroom, we felt right at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay. To behold the beautiful sunrise with a cup of hot coffee, and end the day with a spectacularly beautiful sunset and a glass of wine, all whilst gently rocking on the lawn swing, was my idea of heaven. Elke’s place is close to the royal albatross bird center and the OPERA reserve, and she gave us recommendations for local cafes and restaurants. This is a very quiet and peaceful place, and lovely to wake up to bird song every morning. I look forward to returning to this piece of heaven someday!

Susie has created a quiet, private place in Dunedin. It is a great price and has amazing views. Steep street to park, steep walkway to access and slight smoke odour the only negatives. Thanks, Juli and Bill.

I had the most amazing time staying at Frances cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space is beautifully set up, very clean, cozy, and exactly as pictured (if not better!). The attention to detail really stood out, and everything I needed was thoughtfully provided! The location is super convenient, yet peaceful, perfect for relaxing or exploring the area. And the host Frances was absolutely lovely, she was very responsive, kind, and clearly passionate about making guests feel welcome! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch Airbnb experience!

This was a last minute stay after our accommodation let us down at the last minute. The hosts could not have been more helpful or responded more quickly. The space is smallish but well thought out and the bathroom is large. Great shower though takes a while to heat up. Great views and privacy yet an easy hop to town. No cooker or hob but there is a microwave - meant we had to rethink our meal plan haha! Loved all the scenery and activities on the peninsula. This is a fab place to stay for a few days.

Carlees’s place was absolutely fantastic. She knew we were traveling with our 8yo daughter and invited her to feed the sheep with them. It was a fantastic experience. Her home was warm and inviting, and everything from the fresh bread and honey to the amazing views was perfect. They even recommended a local Indian takeaway that was very good. I would definitely stay here again when we return to NZ.
