Beautiful seaside cottage with access to the beach right across the road! Very accessible to go to Dunedin. Janet was very responsive and she was very thoughtful in leaving us breakfast and bread. The cottage had toys and beach amenities to enjoy! We had the most wonderful time :) will definitely be visiting again!

Tessa's space is STUNNING! You can feel the love and careful thought that has gone into the creation of it. All the little touches from the fresh flowers to the honey from Queen Victoria to the 'crocs' for use while taking in the gloriousness of the greenspace all added to the thoughtful gestures. Tessa is a great host and truly cares for her guests experiences. Tessa recommended the local Cafe Buster Greens which had AMAZING coffee and delicious breakfasts. It was a short stay but a magnificently sweet one! Thank you, Tessa for hosting us ❤️ xx

This was a last minute stay after our accommodation let us down at the last minute. The hosts could not have been more helpful or responded more quickly. The space is smallish but well thought out and the bathroom is large. Great shower though takes a while to heat up. Great views and privacy yet an easy hop to town. No cooker or hob but there is a microwave - meant we had to rethink our meal plan haha! Loved all the scenery and activities on the peninsula. This is a fab place to stay for a few days.

Tastefully furnished, warm and comfortable accommodation where I was able to have my small dog with me. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom very nice too. Well equipped little kitchenette. Great location in walking distance of beautiful St Claire beach. Karin was friendly and the place was quiet. I would highly recommend this. I really enjoyed my stay.

A Magical Step Back in Time Staying at this nearly 150-year-old farmhouse was like stepping into a Hollywood movie set—think timeless charm, rustic beauty, and that cozy, lived-in feeling you can only find in places with real history. The house is absolutely stunning, with original character beautifully preserved. From the creaky wooden floors to the vintage details in every room, it felt like a warm hug from the past. It was incredibly cozy, and you can tell the owners have poured love into maintaining its old soul while making it feel like home. Wonderful spot to stay - well appointed, comfortable, sunny and warm. Lovely outdoor area to catch the sun. Very peaceful and quiet. St Clair is a unique part of Dunedin and it was an easy flat walk down to the beach and its cafes and shops. Handy corner story five minutes walk away. Only a short drive to the inner city. Magic spot to relax.

New luxury waterfront accommodation

One of my family’s favorite stays and extremely comfortable. Bjorn greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour, including how to use the heated floors in the bathrooms! He is friendly and my family enjoyed chatting with him. The location is stunning, across the street from the bay and a walking/biking path. Everything in the unit is expertly furnished. The couches are very comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. The bathroom was spacious and had enough counter space for everyone’s toiletries. This was also the only place we stayed that had a dryer. There is another Airbnb upstairs who we saw park shortly after us but we didn’t hear anything. Another unit is next door on the first floor (well separated by a divider on the patio) but we didn’t see or hear anything during our stay. Overall great place and we were sad to leave after 1 night. The peninsula drive there is beautiful too.

Comfy and clean, had everything we needed for a great 2 night stay. Well stocked kitchen and the kids were impressed with the size of the TV! Easy access to the city for all the attractions and places to eat - The Best Cafe was a great find for gluten free fish and chips! Thanks for having us :)

Mike’s place was the perfect spot for our family getaway — brilliant location and very family-friendly. Our 2-year-old could easily walk to the Octagon, and everything was just as described. Communication was clear and smooth throughout. A great choice for a night away with the family!

Sylvia's place was aaaaaaamazing and absolutely beautiful. felt right at home the moment we stepped in. the toys and books left out were very much welcome by my children (and me as it kept them entertained!). very close to St Clair beach where restaurants and Gelato shop. Very responsive host. highly recommended. thanks for hosting us!
