“Acharn Farm is an idyllic place where you could blow off some steam, raise your head watching the stars and listen to nature. Totally in love with this place! Corrine is awesome and she gives us perfect directions to find her house, switch off your gps!!”
1 Bedroom Pod with stunning views over loch linnhe in Cuil bay, Duror. We are situated 8 miles from Glencoe and central between Fort William and Oban. Ideal for lovely beach strolls or forest walks and Munro bagging if you are feeling a little bit more adventurous.
“Pod is newly built, high standard of quality for interior used. We loved the sense of details Dana and Steven put in when building/equiping the pod (from the nicely prepared breakfast basket to the thought out equipment of the pod such as the wooden board to extend the usable space in the kitchen or the foldable chairs). Bed is quite narrow, but it does fit 2.”
It's a Nature Reserve, that's where you'll find our B&B - The Lairds Lodge! A total detox, no Wifi, no running water (except the river past your door) no mains electricity (just solar panels for lights) but bucket loads of peace and tranquillity in the middle of our Reserve. A cosy Shepherd Hut style Cabin, with a wood burning stove and a gas ring. A tasty breakfast of fruit, yoghurt and a croissant is provided plus tea & coffee. The loo is outside, there is no bathroom or shower.
“This is the perfect stay for anyone not afraid of getting off the beaten track. There’s no running water and there’s a fire to keep warm, so it is a great get away from the complications of the ‘comfortable life’ of the city. A cosy, homely, yet adventurous place right next to a lively river. Definitely makes you feel like you’re in the true Highlands, not just getting some surface level tourist experience!”
