Monthly Rentals in Elk Mound

Very nice house with easy access to many local restaurants and activities. Locales close to downtown for easy access to downtown events. The house is as described except the 3rd bedroom is technically in open area adjacent to the livingroom and not a seperate bedroom.

We had a very lovely, peaceful weekend. The cabin exceeded our expectation, it is much cozier in person than the pictures show. The lake was beautiful and we even heard some loons, which is one of my favorite parts of being at the lake. Beds and bedding were very comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. We took advantage of the games Becky had provided. We tried to do the ax throwing at Stout Brewing but they have discontinued that, which was a little disappointing- would have been something different to do. We did have a good time exploring the antique stores and candy store in Menomonee and visiting the Ellsworth Cheese location just outside of town. They have windows into the factory area where you can watch them make the cheese as well as a very nice store with a lot of interesting items. I would highly recommend for a quiet, disconnected trip. It was just what we needed.

Eileen was a wonderful hostess. Her house and property are beautiful, and the clear view of the stars at night are gorgeous as well. Eileen is very accommodating and has thought of everything to ensure that I had the best experience. She thought of every possible thing i could have forgot to pack and had extras if needed. She offers information on local shopping, dining, and outings while extending the invite to enjoy her vast, beautiful property. I loved my stay and am hopeful I will get back someday.
