Yurt vacation rentals in English Channel

The yurt was absolutely beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful, such perfect surroundings. The hot tub was lush and everything felt more rewarding after having to make fires and heat up the stove and hot tub yourself! Pen was communicative, friendly, left us some cider and eggs from her chickens which was a fantastic touch! The bed was comfortable and inside of the yurt had all of the utensils bits you’d need for cooking. It was also very spacious inside and outside of the yurt. Lovely walks nearby and pubs too. Can’t wait to go back again!

Had an absolutely lovely couple of nights at the site for New Year's. The site was peaceful and in a beautiful location. The yurt was amazing, excellent wood burner, lovely furnishings and the heated sheets were great too. Nick was very welcoming and helpful (we didnt get the chance to meet Molly), lovely chap and we made use of the table tennis and i braved a dip in the lake, which was great! Close proximity to several pubs and plenty of food options in Bridport itself too, as well as many amazing areas to visit on the Jurassic Coast. We will happily be back at some point, this has been one of the best Airbnb visits ive had, so would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going!

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end. week-end reposant ce dont nous avions besoin. mes enfants ont adoré pêcher dans l'étang de Michel. A disposition également, la table de ping pong qui nous a bien plu aussi. le cadre est paisible et agréable. a proximité, possibilité de faire de belles balades. merci à Michel.

This place is an absolute gem. Back to basics, super cosy with the wood burner. The shower is quite literally hovering above the river in the forest and it's so freeing and peaceful. Haven't slept this well in months and just a lovely retreat!

We had a wonderful Easter stay at the treehouse. It is a beautiful location in the middle of nowhere - we felt like we were nesting in the trees- with lovely woods for our children to play in (there was an epic Easter egg hunt). But it is also very close to lots of places of interest to explore. Very cosy to return to after a day out with a very clever and well stocked kitchen. Our kids loved their sleeping loft, the wood burner and the visiting cat. We will definitely come back

What a wonderful place!! absolutely stunning, each area is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. the yurt and beds very comfy with electric blankets. kitchen area with table and shower, outdoor bath and sauna perfect!! under shelter fire, hammocks and seating area all wonderful. connected with nature and left feeling refreshed. highly recommed staying here!!! Thank you so much for your kind hospitality and sharing your lovely space with us.

Matt met us on arrival we had a great chat during our stay and just before we left, the listing doesn’t do justice to the amenities and location it was a quiet haven perfect for a relaxing break we will definitely be returning in the future. The site is due to have a few upgrades but everything you could possibly need is already on site excluding your food. Thanks again Matt for making our stay great and the warm welcome

Nice and peaceful stay in this unique yurt. Very welcoming hosts and dogs! And the swimming pool was a bonus on a warm day - very clean and private.

The Stargazing Yurt was such a magical stay ✨ We had the best weekend with the fire going, lovely hot baths and just a truly relaxing time. The area is beautiful and you wake up to the sight of the Sea. Wonderful walks near by, pubs and a local shop. It couldn’t have been better. We all said we would stay here again 💚 A real Island gem. Lovely place - quick stopover before we caught the ferry. Would come again for longer. Kids’ loved all the games, which we played at night without an iPad in site! 😃

On arrival we were met by Sharon who kindly helped us to the Yurt on the golf buggy. The Yurt was beautiful and exactly how it was listed on the booking. The hot tub was fantastic and the shower room was lovely and warm and immaculate. The whole atmosphere was friendly, the owner Mark was fantastic and always happy to help. We ate at a local pub recommended to us which was delightful. Thank you all for your hospitality and the Christmas tree on checking out. We will definitely stay again.

We had such a gorgeous stay at the Yurt! Such a lovely, peaceful, quirky place. We were two adults and two kids (3 and 6), and the yurt was a great size for us, surprisingly spacious and very cozy and comfortable. The sunken bath in the garden was amazing - idyllic and enjoyed by all! The separate bldg with the movie snug and kitchen (and a shower and seating area) was also really fun, very conveniently stocked and just lovely. Everything was fab, we’d absolutely recommend and would love to come back again! Also - this location was perfect, a short walk through a lovely park and by a canal into town, and a huge Sainsbury’s nearby which was convenient. Wish we could have stayed longer, kids didn’t want to leave!

Just beautiful, a great location with stunning views. The Yurt had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It was clean, the bed was comfy it even had a table and chairs to sit and eat. The log burner was lovely, with a big basket of logs on arrival, and £5 for a refill. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda and taking in the views, with horses in the next field. The shower was lovely and warm and spotlessly clean. Sue was a great host and extremely caring to all our needs, such a friendly person and on hand for everything we needed. Very responsive to our messages. we will definitely be back, and try out the Shepherds hut next time. Thanks for a lovely stay, we recommend this beautiful place.

We had such a great time, it's a wonderful, magical place with beautiful natur! The yurts were super comfortable and clean. There is a sauna that is a must try, it was such a great experience. Tim was a great host, so nice and helpful; we would have loved to have stayed longer in this beautiful place. Thank you Tim for making this possible for us! My son said: 'if you could give 6 stars, we would give 7!'

we had a wonderful weekend in the yurt, Francoise & her husband were very friendly & made sure we had everything we needed. very accommodating & responsive hosts & a really lovely place. We are already planning a return trip!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the yurt. It’s such a lovely experience and there’s everything you need. Was wonderful to come in the spring as you can cook and eat outside to the sound of birdsong. Highly recommend.

A lovely few days in the cosy yurt with clean facilities and peaceful campsite. Lots of little touches in the yurt with tea and coffee provided and a hot water bottle. I didn’t have the breakfast hamper but friends did and it looked great. The campsite runs along a main A road so you do hear the road traffic but it’s not too bad. Great location for exploring the local area.

We had the best time at Tim's place! The location exceeded our expectations, it was so peaceful with loads to do and we even saw the resident deer a couple of times. We had a hammock, swings for the kids, a badminton court, firepit area with loads of wood. But make sure you are up for a steep walk to and from the car park as not suited for people with any knee or ankle issues. The yurt was spectacular too with everything you would expect and the furnishings are beautiful 🐝! Thank you Tim for a lovely stay!

The place is so nice especially with nature lovers, secure and we have a privacy. Angus is approachable, quick to response with our messages. We really enjoyed staying in Angus place. We were thankful for extra bonus the 5 free range eggs.
