We are so grateful to have been able to stay at Gwynn's place, it is so peaceful and lovely. Like a secret garden getaway. We loved all the small touches, and beauty of the space. Gwynn made us feel very welcome and comfortable! The pool is amazing and the outdoor spaces are delightful. Can't wait to stay here again.

The casita was perfect for my family! It was bigger and even nicer in person. Robert was responsive and friendly. It was very clean, and had everything you need. We would love to stay there again!

Three Oaks was a lovely getaway! It was nice being a bit outside of town, very quiet & peaceful. The host was friendly, attentive & very welcoming. The bed was comfortable, something I have a problem with at most hotels I stay in. Will definitely come back on future visits to the area!

Enjoyed our stay at Ewa’s. The bedroom was cozy and quiet - slept great. Really liked the living room with those tall angled ceilings. Kitchen had everything we needed and the smart TV with Netflix was convenient. Nice peaceful neighborhood, just keep in mind it's about a 15-minute drive to either Carlsbad or Oceanside beaches. Good spot if you don't mind being a short drive from the ocean.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ I even could use the surfboard!

BOOK IT! Aesthetically well done, extremely comfortable, perfect location. Really enjoyed my stay here for 5 days. Unit has everything you may need during your stay. Love this neighborhood, so many great restaurants and shops. Parking was always available. Space is squeaky clean and bed is comfy. Next time I’m in SD I will stay here again.

Jolene and Dane's rental stood out for us. We have lived In Europe and traveled extensively renting all over the world during our journey. Their casita was decorated classy and stylishly...with comfort and convenience in mind. The kitchen was sweet and small w/everything we needed (mainly breakfast.). The TV was like watching our own at home. They thought of every detail to make guests feel ever so comfortable..and ohhh that view. If their calendar allows, we will return. We will return. We were so grateful to Heidi accommodating our new family of 4 (2 month old baby) on our first trip, especially as our request was last minute. We found the local recommendations very helpful as well as her thoughtful call to make sure the GPS took us the right way. Just recently stayed here with my wife and two small kids for a weekend in North County to go to Legoland. The location is perfect with a short drive to Legoland or Carlsbad Village or the beach. The ADU was very private with all the necessary amenities and a private patio to enjoy the wonderful weather.

I cannot say enough great things about Kim’s Villa! It is in a perfect location and I felt right at home from the moment I stepped inside. The surroundings are absolutely stunning and the bedroom especially is very cozy. Kim herself was incredibly accommodating and kind - I was enjoying my stay so much that I decided to book for another week, and Kim went above and beyond to help make that happen for me! If you’re looking for the perfect stay in La Jolla - look no further than this Villa!

This place was perfect for my short stay! It was very clean, kitchen is nice with everything you need, & the bed was comfy. Most definitely worth the money.

This apartment is great for 2 people to enjoy the San Diego / La Jolla area. We stayed here for a full month. The apartment is very cozy and the hosts are absolutely fantastic! They have an office set up downstairs (in the garage) and work there most weekdays and occasionally on weekends, so you're not in a totally private house (you have your own entrance and space upstairs), but they are close by for questions. As is prevalent in the area our small dog was very welcome in this apartment. If you have a small dog be wary of coyotes that roam the area.

We absolutely loved the place and loved our stay. Host was super easy to work with and will absolutely stay there again.

A beautiful setting & lovely guest house with charming decor. I prefer a no-host/no deadline check-in, especially as we were driving down from Los Angeles on a Friday afternoon, a 2.5-hour drive that took 5 hours -- and I was sweating that deadline the whole way. I was prepared for it, but ... The place could use a bit of maintenance/professional cleaning -- found a sock and dog bone under the bed, indicating that it hadn't been swept under there. The water seemed low in the Jacuzzi when we got in and an unpleasant foam formed almost immediately upon entry. Was not clear that it had been cleaned (or how well it had been cleaned) before our arrival. The host did warn us to watch our footing & heads while traversing the property, but the planking to the Jacuzzi and elsewhere, as well as hand-holds on railings, should be attended to. Wifi was weak/unreliable. Wasn't crazy about freeway noise either. All that having been said, it's a gem of a place that just needs updated TLC.

Joe and Dee Dee were friendly, proactive and communicative hosts. The casita was replete with high end finishes, tastefully decorated and had all the amenities that we could want. It is well located within Carlsbad and we would recommend this to anyone planning a visit to the area.
