“Apartment by the Park” is a great place to stay in Almaty. I stayed here for 17 days while I was working at the Kazakh National University (KazNU). The apartment is clean, comfortable and convenient to markets, restaurants and transportation. Best of all the hosts are super helpful when needed. A grocery store (Magnum) is a 5-minute walk away, many restaurants are a 5-to-15-minute walk away, a major bus stop is a 10-minute walk away, KazNU is a 10-minute walk away, and the nearest metro stop is a 20-minute walk. The apartment itself is great for one to two travelers. Although the outside of the building looks old and rundown, the apartment has been recently modernized and is clean with 3 rooms; kitchen, bathroom and living/bedroom and has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and laundry machine. I found everything that I needed here for a comfortable 17-day stay.

I had a fantastic experience at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, yet quiet and peaceful at night.
